  • reminds me of nine inch nails

  • ...America did need an answer to squarepusher after all haha seriously though i just downloaded this ruinerseverhead album and its phenomenally good...

  • the new openlabs nekko xxl can do what ever you want live. it can EASILY do this. but that thing is on roids. its seriously sent from hell and heaven at the same time

  • someday this will be so much easier hopefully.

  • what did you use to produce the drums ?

  • genius. definitely

  • HaHa! Both kick ass and funny at the same time. How do you turn this Fu*#$n thing off! lol!!

  • A true left-handed! Can't do anything like everybody lol!!! You kick ass!

Does that means that you'll soon be live? Can you come to Quebec province?

  • I second that

  • this is great stuff! What a great concept for a trac. 'Don't tase me bro' LMAO!!! perfect

  • nice man, now all you gotta do is get some fast drum beat... bump it up to 180 BPM, edit the shit out of it, and you'll be just as good as squarepusher! this is very cool though, i love mixing bass with electronics though... have you looked into getting a MIDI pickup for the bass? i'm pretty sure you might be able to start/stop loops on your bass which seems like a cool idea. i haven't done enough research but it seems like a great idea!

    keep up the good work!

  • Hey jeff, your awesome.

  • Impressive! (and nice Pedulla there!)

  • zomg my face is melting from the sheer sound awesomeness!

Very cool tutorial Jeff, I keep hearing abelton live is a great live tool!

  • Ableton is a great tool.

Every version includes more new and creative tools

  • OMG, this is ridiculous! I think this might be better than the album version. It's funny - when I first listened to Ruiner Severhead and picked up pieces of my cranium off the floor - that question came to mind as well - how/can he do this live? 'Seeing is Freeing.'

    Thanks for posting!

  • ;) glad you enjoyed! thanks!

  • manring has a quote on 'thonk' that i think is appropriate to use here:

you, jeff, are a deeply disturbed individual.

    : )

  • if you only knew. ;)

  • Well thanks a lot Jeff; You've made me feel insignificant as a musician again.

  • awesome. I felt the same way after watching Adam Nitti play a set with his band at NAMM this year. ;)

  • amazing job

is that the bass gt-10 processor or the elec. guitar processor?

  • gt-10 - yup. the guitar version.

  • Insanity :D

  • Wow, that was bad ass. & Hilarious ending. That is a cool setup though, thinking back me and a friend of mine rigged up something similar to that. Although I'm afraid to say it was more to do with harassing other gamers on the internet then doing anything creative..

  • well . . . harassing people with technology can be an artistic pursuit in and of itself! ;)
