Zelda OOT: MASSIVE Stalchild in Hyrule Field!

It doesn't only work on the MasterQuest Debug. it works on all current ROMs and game versions (except possibly the 3DS version. idk) every few of them you kill spawns a larger stalchild. just make night last forever: you have to kill several rounds of them and it's hard/impossible during the normal span of night. About the Skull Keeta thing: Bet you thought there was something original in Majora's Mask didn't you? Nope.

I believe on the actual N64 cart, If you kill 4-5 regular ones, a big one shows up, then if you repeat two more times, then one the size of captain keetah turns up, not sure if this is really true but...

@MaidenFan24568 Yeah, they get progressively bigger as you kill more and more. It's multiplicative, so the first big is double size, the second is triple, the third is quadruple, so on. If you're extremely fast or use a Gameshark to make the night last forever, you can fight ridiculously huge ones, many times the size of a normal Stalchild.

The Giant Stalchild increases in size each time a set number of normal Stalchildren are killed. The night time period doesn't permit the normal growth of Giant Stalchildren to this size, but it CAN happen naturally if you use a hack to prevent daylight.

Better, what was the point with the larger enemies if you didn't get anything special for killing them. The birds and stalchildren didn't need any more hits than the smaller versions.

@Knightmessenger It's not a deliberate creation - the increase of the oversize Stalchildren is supposed to be time-limited by the limit on nighttime in OoT. (That's why the oversize Leavers are special leavers instead of bigger ones. Leavers never stop spawning, and why Stalchildren don't spawn infinitely in Majora's Mask.)

And the point was to make the infinite spawns a little more interesting. That's it.

Apparently, you can get this on the normal version; if you stay out at night killing wave after wave of Stalchildren, huge ones appear, and if you kill enough waves of those, an even HUGEr one will appear. Same goes for Guays in Lonlon Ranch. Haven't tested either yet though, but I've heard from alot of people who've done it.

There is another really easy way to make big stalkids if you have gameshark or an emulator.

Just turn on infinite nighttime and go around killing stalkids untill the 2x size oen comes up. After a while he starts to turn into a 3x size and a 4x size and so on. Of course they dont get that big but it's still pretty cool.

Your way does seem a whole lot cooler though.
