just an extra thought , if your strings are rusty, dirty or the wrong gauge it will ruin the sound your going for. My strings are constantly dirty... effing siblings -.-

yeah its ever so slightly out of tune, you might want to work on the amount of distortion, invest in a better amp or just hook it straight up to your computer with some music software. Also if you learnt it from a tab it might be worth looking for a better one. Also try to experiment with your playstyle, like throwing in bends, mutes, harmonics and all of that good stuff. dont give up on it thought because there is major potential there

um please post the correct song because this is NOT the Duke Nukem 3D theme song this is Megadeth's version of Duke Nukem theme

the Duke Nukem 3D version is called Grabbag and sounds much different from Megadeth's and there is no solo in Grabbag like there is in this....so please post under the correct name next time and not the wrong name

It's off key. That one part after the C Ionian lick, where the chord rings out is in the key of C not G. I was mildly impressed up until this part (about 21 seconds into this song) just because you chord it appropriately. Keep practicing, work to obtain tecnique

The one thing that made people dislike this vid to this extent is quality. and that is:

- the tuning of the guitar (terrible)

- the sound of the guitar (terrible)

the skill was fine imo, also the first bit you started a bit late which didnt look great.

Errr.... It's a cover that he made in his own style, by adding solos and improving the main riffs. The song you hear in his video is not the Megadeth version (compare both and you'll hear that they're different), it's what he recorded: he played separately lead & rhythm guitar, bass and drums then put everything together. Anyway, he played it in front of thousand people...
