i do respect the talent and dont doubt they enjoy the music they play..... but in a way it reminds me of the time i taught my first student about overplaying drum licks in a song. for once i think the whole band share this problem. even if the guitars arent super complex in some sections, you can tell its drum oriented for drummers and i bet in the back of their minds in the creative process they said to themselves, lets show our ass. i hope their egos dont match what i assume is the case

This band is ridiculous!!! And the drummer is without a doubt an insane drummer!! I dont care what some of the jealous idiots on here say about his drumming, I bet none of you could even come half as close to him.....his drumming fits great for this style of music and he is indeed a great drummer!! Definitely a great death metal band!!!

Its good but not the best, and I discredit the quad kicks because its cheap, gravity blasts are great but everything on his setup is triggered. Great guitar solo, but the band is up rising and what they need to do is work more on rythm and take it a nouch down, make music not a blend of crazy sounds that dont fit in. Im sure they will improve.

Man. This guy is more musical than I thought he was. Although, he's not one of the more musical drummers I've ever heard by any stretch of the imagination.

Sometimes, drummers focus so much on speed and technique, it's more like drumming for sport than music.

It kills me, because you can tell, this guy is really good. I think he's too good to be blasting as much as he is.

the drummers speed is AMAZING, but sometimes i feel as if it is a bit of overkill IN MY OPINION. sounds amazing, and requires a lot fo technique and practice, but i prefer more technical stuff. like chris adlers foot work. amazing.

Inform yourself a bit more buddy, Chris Adler is one of my heroes but he is certainly not supertechnical let alone real technical. George Kollias, now HE is the embodiment of technical he hits 280 bpm while having enough power to let the bassdrums sounds above his snare.

same here. He is incredibly fast, but speed isn't everything. I for myself prefer more "groovy" beats and not that many blasts. But that's only a matter of taste. Never the less, he's a talented drummer.

To anyone who thinks this is "cheating" I don't see how. It's just heel-toe method with pedals that are made specifically for using this style. Couple up with a gravity blast.

Personally I wouldn't want to play this in a band, but being able to do it would be a huge asset.

its just 1 pedal per bass drum, but .. i forget who makes it, but each pedal as 2 beaters, and you need to kick back and fourth i think on the heel plate. so it rocks both.

sonor makes these pedals. called the sonor big step ( or twin effect pedal) well at least the ones guido uses are the sonar ones.

a cheaper company called cannon also makes and sells a pedal just like them. probably not as good but they do the same thing
