  • Freedom is coming ! 2000 years and some of our people are not free. they are still slaves. why ? Wake up in the morning, go to work, and have the government that spends trillions of dollars more than it gets, has taken from you, for what? Freedom? what freedom ? Freedom to be lied to? freedom to watch sons and daughters die for a fight we didn't create? Just what did the war in Iran keeping us free from? I don't see the Taliban hanging around my block, nor do I have to worry. Freedom now !!!

  • Im Proud to be a African !!! <33

  • wowww..im just amazed lookin @ this video. I love watching tht as a kid growing up in Soweto. I want ed to be there even though it was not a good time to be there. But they looked like they were having fun with everything that was going on. I love Sarafina and still do. I miss home so much( I'm in the U.S). I thank God for the major change. I can say that Sout African people are FREE!. I wish I had this movie/video to show to my childre in the future.

    I love this.

  • "Amid Africa's wars, man-made famines and plagues, I have found people getting on with life, rising gloriously above conditions that would break most Westerners. In Africa even in the worst of times you do not hear the tones of doom and despair that characterize some Western media reports on Africa. Africa always has hope. I find more hopelessness in Highbury where I live in north London than in the whole of Africa."

Richard Dowden, author of Africa: Altered States, Ordinary Mircales.

  • beautiful song,, very inspiring

  • This is really inspiring. I remember seeing it somewhere, NOW i dont remember! great. It's from a movie isnt it?

Africans just need to know not to be influenced by singers like Jay Z, Rhianna, Beyonce and more...after researching about the illuminati - satan worshipping, you will see.

They are always doing these satanic hand symbols etc in their music videos...they have a different aura about them too.

  • when i get married and have children, I am naming my girl: Sarafina...This movie is just the best..and speaks to me. i never want to forget or lose it

  • SARAFINA IS IT?

  • I love Africa! Most beautiful continent on Earth! Africans are amazing, very kind and good people. I love them! Greetings from Romania!

  • Wow, This movie was SOOO powerful, and inspirational, even as a young child and having little grasp of the historical nature of Apartheid, and Black subjugation. This song and scens in particular is something that stuck with me all these years later...will for the rest of my life!!!

  • I love this music video as a matter of fact the movie Sarafina on the hold. This movie is one of the eye openers for black awareness and what our history used to like with black people. I believe today we still have to wake especially in my country Trinidad and Tobago. My Black Brothers and Sisters we are BEAUTIFUL let us take pride in ourselves.

  • @sexygladiator01 very true this BEAUTIFUL movie opened my eyes to black awareness...I am black and live/born in the United States; I fell victim to the lies " they" (we know who "they" are) told us about Africa, but now I know that our beautiful African homeland, rich in history and culture, belongs to me. Beautiful Song and Movie!!

ASMARA, ERITREA (BosNewsLife)-- Eritrean security forces have detained nearly a dozen Christians, taking them to undisclosed locations, local Christians and rights activists said in comments monitored by BosN

  • Its funny how these heinous feminist and crakazoids try to pervert the original people of the world...so freedom is coming...all women have to do is wear a mens suit and subordinate their men...no matter what yall swine skined parasites try to do with subliminal garbage at the end of the day yall will never win..even if you bought a village of sellout kneegrows..yall will never win...period

  • my favorite movie.. so tear jerkin...i even learned the words 2 the movies soundtrack..i love aferica

  • it sucks sometimes just to read some of the comments people do make when it comes to Africa. The ignorance is amazing.N it really gets on my nerves how my professor always give negative examples on this continent based on his shallow knowledge. We got our fuckin problems, just like every single continent n therefore Africa is not all about epidemics, diseases, wars bushes n animals all over. They ask me wether we live in caves, ,if we walk naked. I hate ignorance

  • @muzikimaisha You are a 100% right.! Its up to us to teach and make them conscious of their ignorance, but if they want to remain ignorant, then God will teach them once the time is right. It does suck! cause history teaches us in such a bias way, but at least some of us have knowledge of self and God has blessed us with a higher intelligence. They say only 144,000 would make into Heaven. They say life without education is death in disguise. Peace and Blessing to you.

  • young people in this world need to knw they can fight and make a change in this world

  • great ofcourse...if your sane you love the movie more

  • @jkevinking there is no slavery in America right now. we are in 21st century wake up and smell the coffee. Africa needs to be freed from itself

  • @frankie3005 Well this is an old movie , and ther'z no slavery either in Africa and thats why we are hosting the World cup dummy !!!

  • @lungza hahahah you think world cup is making you that great, world cup is game you dummy.. Africa is not still enjoying the freedom it was supposed to have centuries ago, Wake up wake up Africa

  • @frankie3005 World Cup is not making us great , However there is no slavery in South Africa , As I have mentioned earlier , this is an old movie , Africa is not as bad as you think , well anyway I won't argue with u , cause u have never lived in Africa and u only base yo opinions on what you see on TV !!!!!

  • @lungza Africa is my home, Africa is my country, thou Iam far from home now, but I know my home, I am African. To be honest Africa has a problem, caused by a bad governance. we were supposed to live and enjoy freedom and devolopment. South Africa is the only shining candle in whole African continent, I would like all other African countries free themselves from the dictators and change Africa into heaven, and really Africa is a heaven

  • @frankie3005 lol, if south africa is heavan.......... god is a raging cunt. aids ridden, racism segregation and vast ethnic disparities. i would agree that is is better than allot of other africancountries but it by no means good or fully developed. you MUG

  • @lungza i agree africa's bare safe
