Rich and i came up with in over two days (actually from some longer story ideas of both of ours) and just went ahead and done shorter one again as an 'example' of what we can do but of course i would love to do a longer version had we more money, time off work etc!
Been doing filming tonight, did some yesterday and tomorrow some too! Then some on thurs night probably... trying to fit it all in this week all after work knackering stuff! But it's looking good ;-) worth it. Hopefully all filmed this week if we can, edited rest of week or so after! Thew
I'll tell you what was worse! Trying to edit on the computer in the dining room with a 7ft crate looming over you (when we were making chainmail) the only avalible light was dim!..and we had to think of reasons for not letting people come over to see it standing in our house!
We had to destroy it unfortunately :-( the shots (you know in the film taking it apart) was the end of it...and yes i was inside that carpet put in upside down not comfortable! Nails poking out of the crate too!
Lesson no.1 if you're ever going to get rid of a body (it may look cool wrapped up in a carpet but it certainly ain't comfortable for the ungrateful dead!) but it's a lot of hard work wrapping it up!...i'd never use a carpet after that experience! Not that i'm gonna go cap anyone!..was a tad worrieing sometimes...couldn't move anything and i'm going in head first trying not to break my neck!

I've got a review by someone of 'Ghosthouse on my favs- i'm getting rid of it shortly because i wouldn't anyone to think my standards have dropped! I din't know it was the same guy that did 'Cannibal Ferox' it seems so amateur you know? Its pretty bad..but we'd enjoy it! Theres some bits a little creepy in it..but mainly funny!
Also- you know i said about the art and design project we had to do and i did the scene from Blade runner?- 'Ghosthouse' the obscurity it is! My friend Darran did- looked really good..a good scene from the film- a head in the tumble dryer heeh! Darran's a great artist- it was bets him and me in college just listning to soundgarden and stuff do artwork! -He's the lead sionger writer from Halo ego trip that did the main music in Veil...
The Ghosthouse/Cannibal Ferox thing is kind of like Dan O'Bannon - I would never in a kazillion years put the guy who wrote Alien as the SAME guy who directed ROTLD. Dude, you are so making me want to check out this Ghosthouse! Btw, your friend sounds SO talented. That music in the Veil was one of the reasons why I bought it. Now get over here so we can start our movie marathon.

Yes on the dan o' bannon..difference those were both really good films!! ..different yes..but both good. Wow! You know more than me! i havn't checked yet! Yes, it will be on one of those days...last year 'Chainmail' went well up there was filled completely- bar 5 seats and theres lots of other showings on at the same time so i'm looking forward to it!
