The matrilineal clan of the Lennox Sisters reminds me of my mother's family of mainly strong women and secondary men characters. Unique insight into women's political subjugation and the colonial class system to affect the Americas. I've watched a taped VHS tape over 30 times. Now to your upload, many gratitudes, even on those Tories!

Now, in Portugal the serie is broadcasted by RTP, our public station. Many congratula-tions to the BBC for this masterpiece full of drama, with a superb argument. The performance of the characters is amazing!

The history of the Gordon-Lennox family (by Stuart male line) is, at the same time, thriving and sad because we know that these two sisters, with a bright future, ended up living with their backs turned. And the tragic fate of Lady Caroline Lennox certainly deserves be remembered!...

Thank you for uploading this miniseries. I remember watching this with my husband. We looked forward to our weekly peeks into the lives of the upper crust of Great Britain. We'd snuggle on the couch and simply enjoy the storyline deepen and become wonderfully engaging. Magnificent!
