By 31 to 32 weeks, premature babies weigh between 3 1/2 and 4 pounds and are between 18 and 19 inches long. That's almost as long as a baby born at term! Premature babies born at 31 and 32 weeks are called moderately preterm babies. Although they're still immature at birth and will require several weeks of NICU care, most 31 and 32 weekers quickly catch up to their peers and have few long term effects of prematurity.

yes so true, i just had my ultrasound 3 days a go and my baby weighs 4 lbs. 7 oz. so it is possible. anything is possible. u would know better than any of us u saw ur sister. nice video : )...oh and im 31 weeks pregnant.

First off, Every baby grows differently inside the womb.. My nephew was born at 32 weeks and was estimated to be around 6 pounds. he was born at 5 pounds and 11 ounces. He ended up crashing quite a few times and had to be in NICU for 24 days. the lowest weight he got was 4 pounds and 11 ounces. It is very possible. Girls develop faster. Once they met 32 weeks most of them are healthy. I am now pregnant with my first , a baby girl and so excited!

Im not sure if any of you know what you are talking about but I had an ultrasound at almost 30 weeks and they estimated her weight at 3 pounds 2 ounces so maybe it isnt fake :)

a 31 week premie would look MUCH different, and wouldn't even be close to 3 lbs 11 oz. Also, not to mention, if you check the girl's youtube, she would've been like, 13 when this was uploaded, I know not impossible, but still.

@castlesuzie Not saying it's not fake, but it's not impossible for a baby to be 3 lbs 11 oz at 31 weeks. I'm 31 weeks and my baby is measuring about 3 lbs sonographically and she is on the small end.

@castlesuzie I don't agree that it is fake. Im 31 weeks and my daughter weighs in 3lbs 12 oz. I havent had her yet but someone I know had premie twins at 32 weeks. One being 4 lbs and the other being 3lbs and they looked very similar to these photos. Without considering negativity on something that is so sensitive you should applaud that the babies are alive and doing well.

not really.. just cos she was premature doesnt mean they are stuck at one weight! it varies. you can get full term newborns from 6-9 pounds.

Awww..She's adorable! I can't believe how a preemie baby is so cute! (I only say that because sometimes, they just look...not fully cooked. I don't mean that unkindly.) I love her hands. They look so strong!
