But now, if it's not, I ask; Why would any species with the smarts to master interstellar travel visit here? It would essentially cause global pandemic as different religions could view "Aliens" as "Angels" or even a supposed "God." Plus, people would be demanding technology or "Salvation."

@Zincon48 First of all,you are assuming that these aliens think like we do.It is reasonable to think that they are so different than us(brain and thought process included)that we couldn't begin to understand their purpose.It would be along the lines of trying to teach physics to a squirrell.ISo, it would then also be reasonable to assume that some of species visiting here would not be familliar with our customs or religious beliefs.

UFO simply means Unidentified Flying Object, not "ALIEN"... like how most people would think.

It's either a new missile test or military aircraft. The US used to develop an aircraft (and probably still is) that flew like a UFO. It was called Project Aurora -err something like that. I wouldn't be surprised if other countries have started making the same aircrafts.
