I work on a engine crew for the State Of Montana and I watch this video before every fire season to remember those before me who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I'm not a fire fighter but one thing in common we all share is our desire to be a hero. All firefighters are heros. Please check out my new song and video about just that at thebailiffsings. To all Firefighters - thankyou from "The Bailiff."
As an wildland firefighter who has spent time on the ground, and now in the air, one of the most important things you can do for the families who have lost a loved one, is to let them know they are not forgotten, neither the people grieving over a loved one years later, and also that the memory of who gave their life, is not forgotten either.
I'm a hotshot with the usda-fs and I'll never forget our lost. ( USDA-FS, BLM, BIA, INMATES, PRIVATE SECTOR, ECT. ) All of us out there no matter who you are we are all brothers/sisters out there.
u knw we put our lives on the line when we r dispatchd 2 a wildland fire. we leave behind our wives girlfrens kids famlly's an we pray we come bak 2 them this is a good vidoe it tells alot that how much we love our job 2 the fallen wwff's we never 4get
That storm king fire was a beast. I grew up in and around prineville oregon and when the news broke that so many prineville hotshots had been taken the whole town was shocked. they built a great memorial for them many years ago and they will never be forgot!!!! God bless all theses fallen firefighters and thier family's! Mike-Patrick Corporation.

If you are ever in the Glenwood Springs, CO area and you are a Wildland firefighter, make it a point to walk Storm King/South Mountain. You will be a changed person and a better firefighter.
so were theses fires in order from year to year i know the cedar fire was in 2007 was the tuolumne fire happen before or after. I remember the cendar fire when steven died. i was right next to him
God bless all the fallen firefighters and their familys.. Im going up north because I just got a spot in a firecrew up there.. I know the risk involved but it's a necessary risk.. Thanks for making this video..
bless these men and women who risk there livesand come together one team united to fight the fire the most valued and respected group of soldiers that walk this earth for they are not fight goverments no nations nor people there fighting wildland fires so heres to the people who where the colors green and gold give them the strngth the knowlege and the indurance to continue the fight of wild fires may they return home again safe... thank you who ever made this video. we appriciate it.
I also fought fires from 2000-2006, I was an inmate firefighter for the state of California. Baseline Camp #36 Jamestown. Very proud of it too! I fought a few fires with Eva ( 2:29) She was an excellent firefighter, but must of all she was a nice person. She knew exactly who we were (Inmates) and she treated us like an equal. I was there that faithful day when she passed. I will never forget her !!!
Worked as a wildland firefighter for 3 seasons, worked with Navajo Scouts out of Northeast Arizona, and we had a chance to visit the Wildland Firefighter Foundation Summer of 2006. It was good to visit the base of operations, and to see the comraderie that all firefighters and emts have. i now work as an emt, but i plan on putting both my passions to work and work as an emt of the firelines. Good Bless and Safety First to those going to the firelines this summer.
I'm a Wildland Firefighter and love every second of my job. All you other firefighters out there, lets keep this safe so we don't become a statistic. My hardhat is off to those that have fallen and I hope that no one else or myself will join the list of fallen firefighters. Great video.
I just saw my father's name and picture on here and I cried. We lost him May 13, 2004 on the Mailbox Fire. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about him. He loved his job of being a firefighter, and because of him I have great respect for firefighters everywhere. God bless.
wildland firefighter since 18. 30 years old now and 5 year old son wants to follow in boots. alot of friends have past over the years it scares me my son could be one eventually or myself.A cheif mountain hotshot passed this last season 30 years old and leaves a 5 year old behind. are thoughts go out to his family.from the flames of hell to the gates of glory going home in memory of the fallen firefighters. thank god wildland firefighter foundation is there. We walk where the devil dances NW Mt.
