WHO CARES! ... as long as it isn't made by Micro$oft. I came, worked, and lived most of my life from the heart of the hi-tech industry (Silicon Valley), and for the past 25 to 30 years Micro$oft damn made sure in shutting down businesses producing products running up against theirs. I also knew people in small businesses threaten by Micro$oft (their reps and legal team)wanting to compete against their crappy OS systems (less refined and unreliable) M$ plays dirty! We need more competition!

In a way this looks like a Mac Operating System thanks to the task bar at the bottom of the desktop and the bar at the top displaying details of battery, network, connection exsetra, College have given me a disk so going now to install!

Relax folks, google os is based on Linux. Actually it's just Linux stripped down and will have you run applications through a cloud environment. This vid is a little shady as it's showing local apps running. Google os was made primarily for cloud environment, meaning no name brand programs like office and firefox etc.
