correct me if I'm wrong. You are controlling a large permanent magnet field with a small current in order to achieve EMF induction as shown in the light bulb ?
I couldn't have said it better myself! That would be quite remarkable, no?
I'm building a pair now and it's pushing my skills to the limit. There's so many variables... and 44 coils!!
At the very least it's going to sound cool to add the reactions of the secondary coils into the mix of say, an electric guitar input. If it's a warm analog response it will be SCHWEEEET with vocals!
A loophole in Newton's second law???
A physics guru could work it out on paper during a coffee break...
Isolate the two primary coils with adjacent magnets only and see how much energy is required to capture most of the existing flux. Call this "X".
Now add the rest of the system. Apply "X" and measure the amount of flux displaced in the other gaps. (Did we need to increase the value of "X" to get the same result in the primaries?)
Is the total amount of displacement greater than the input?
When the current is applied and the primary fields get to maximum, you can theoretically recapture most of the input by stopping the current... causing the fields to collapse.
(As we all know, you can't get all the input back because of inefficiencies. Hence the term, "unity".)
So........ What is the sum of the other coils and the recaptured "remainder" of the input?
I couldn't make up the series or parallel arrangement in the circuits with the light bulb although it was clearly written "series". Got confused with what you tried to convey
Thanks for the comment! In this illustration we assume that all coils will react favorably, whether the flux field within them is increasing or decreasing. Closing the switch creates a flux field in what I call the two "primary coils". This starves the adjacent fields.. which causes the next fields to increase, etc. Each individual coil would theoretically respond with an eqivalent force to ONE of the primary coils, a ratio of 13 to 2(minus inefficiencies)and 7 to 2 as tested with iron filings.
Thanks! I had a little too much fun making the animation and I'd love to have the time to do parodies. Soon, though. You can count on that!
If I was an HHO person I'd research two things....
1. My rudimentary knowledge of chemistry reminds me that CATALYSTS are used to improve reactions. I'd search for examples in nature. What breaks down water and why?
2. Could I get more HEAT, i.e. volume displacement from HHO combustion? HHO actually implodes. It's the heat that counts.
Thanks! The device is definitely going to be fun in my studio if I can tune it to vocal frequencies, like a good condenser mic.
Whether it's over-unity... ?
I'm not so sure about the "genius" part...
I tested the effect using 3 secondary coil spaces between two primaries and 3 secondary coils spaces on each end with 10 magnets. This works great. Then I got greedy during the animation and drew it 3, 7, 3 which does NOT work in a basic 'magnet and iron filing' pattern test.

That's the question that keeps me interested.
Any physics gurus out there?

The last example of volume displacement in your primer was quite appropriate.

Very cute indeed!
Too bad you can't do a parody on oil$ going into SOMEONE'S pockets (hint).
Strange that no one thought of a way to make HHO fly apart all by itself using magnetism...

Man, you must post more of these types of videos. I wish physics was taught like this. You've got the touch, keep it up.
