I have to say that I am and always will be a bigger BACKSTREET BOYS fan than a NKOTB fan. I have been a Backstreet Boys fan for 16 years and a New Kids Fan for 20 years. But when I loved the new kids i was more into the dolls and toys.... I was 6 years old. I grew up with the Backstreet Boys. I am seeing both groups next month and I can't wait. This will be my 7 BSB show and my 1ST EVER NKOTB SHOW. Which I have waited 20 years for. :)

@seraphically i totally agree. 100%. i (unfortunately) was tipped off on twitter/fb that they were coming, so i spent a pretty penny buying tickets off of stubhub for row AA. Best money I ever spent, and had something front row popped up, I would have spent even more. I still get chills (and cry...yes, I tear up!) everytime I watch this performance. Probably the best moment of my life, being there to witness that.

@nkotbandbsbfan I totally understand! I bought my RCMH tickets during presale after the fact that I couldn't get 5* VIP from ILAA. I did 5* at Mohegan sun for NKOTB so I figured I'll just get mezz seats for RCMH. I did wish I got front row at that show, but I am also TOTALLY happy that I was there and saw it with my own eyes. The feeling I got when I saw the two groups on the stage was indescribable. I don't know how I'll be when they tour together.

NKOTB are still a cheap copy of New Edition! And NKOTB did NOT pave the way for Bsb or Nsync! They were only the first white boyband to have success. Blockheads have forgotten that there was a big backlash against them. THEY DID NOT MAKE IT EASY for bsb or nsync to have success!

If it were not for the success of nkotb these other bands would not have been assembled, especialy bsb. Bottom line, without nkotb,the other boy bands( bsb, N'sync) would not have come in to being...so it's safe to say that New Kids did indeed "paved" the way.
