You should have disabled the flash! When a camera flashes, it will use another shutter speed then without.

I have the Bold 9900, the app world isn't great but it's improving, quite fast actually, but that's not a problem for me anyway. That aside, I absolutely love it, it doesn't freeze, it's fast, the screen is great and everything is so smooth, and they fixed the browser so it's now pretty quick aswell as everything else. The camera aswell is also good, and the video is particularly nice surprisingly, also the combo of the keyboard, trackpad and awesome touchscreen is brilliant, I love it :]

well this test isn't precise at all, in the video department I think 4s and SGS2 are the best my friend has iphone and I have S2 and well S2 looks better in the phone screen but video quality is the same on both, trust me

Galaxy s2 the worst?! I own the gs2, video ain't that bad! Ok some times doesn't focus when you shooting a video specially when you shooting 1080p, but doesn't looks that bad! BTW galaxy nexus video and iPhone 4s about the same, I think this due the highest resolution of both display.

I know people will say some android phone is, but the truth is, an iPhone can do pretty anything, I have used Android phones, I have used Blackberry's but the only phone I really fell in love with is the iPhone.Everyone I know who switched from either blackberry or android to an iPhone all prefer the iPhone, and I know atleast 15 - 20 people who have switched. People may think Apple are overpriced but you get what you pay for

Great stuff. Looking to buy a new camera and get more serious about still photography. Would you recommend The Nikon D7000 or a Canon 7D? The 7D is a bit older now, but still a wonderful camera for both still and video. Never played with a Nikon D7000, or much at all with Nikon cameras and was wondering what you thought. Think they all have good cameras. Was surprised at how good the galaxy nexus ones looked actually. The last video with the galaxy s2 looked a bit disappointing.. But the nokia n8 is still the king of mobile cameras, although symbian kinda sucks..

I think the Galaxy S2 started to film before it could focus, and with constant movement (and a net near the camera could confuse focus also) it could not get focus during the film, so it have been blurry.

I admit the 4S might have a better camera in most scenes when compared to Galaxy Nexus, but there can be only one Nexus, and all the other parts of the Nexus takes the lead, screen, open platform, NFC, weight, and it has best recording audio quality ;)

great video.. I'd have to say that last GS2 vid something was wrong.. looked like 480 or some kind of goo smudge on the lense. other than that what was your final thoughts after looking at the sources once you got back? Was there an obvious clear winner?

The ONLY way to compare accurately is to see the source files.

Once uploaded to YouTube the quality is reduced quite dramatically.

Good video though and whilst not 100%accurate it does give a good idea of what they're like.

Excellent Video Adam,Taking the time to go out in the cold like that, Awesome job buddy. As for the phone's you tested, I think no matter which phone a person has they all gave out great picture's. I have to say the the SGS2 & iPhone 4s are the better of the 4 that you took shot's with imo. With the bold 9900 not having auto focus & the Nexus being the flag ship new android phone with only a 5mp camera,I do think they all performed great.

My favourite is still the iPhone 4S, but i was really impressed by the Galaxy Nexus and the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Not so impressed with the S2 - Has no comparison against the 4S. Awesome video! Much appreciated.
