@phlafphlat this is true the car was designed well before 89 and was produced in 89, however! the cars model is a 90-99 not an 89... it might have been produced in 89 but anything that is a z32 not a z31 is considered a 1990 to 99. now in the us people think the nissan z32 or 300zx or fairlady z was only manufactured from 90-96 but this is incorrect, it was manufactured all the way up until 99 but it was no longer sold in the usa past 95 due to price being way to high 32k back then ='d 60+K

TT Supras were mid to high 13 second cars, just like GNXs. The term Twin Turbo makes everyone think the car has 500+ hp. In reality it has two turbos only to help reduce lag etc.

yeahp. they were detuned to keep them to around 300.... to get a supra to 500hp is EASY. the stock internals handle way over that. and the GNX never handled like a supra, but both handled pretty poorly to be honest. TT means it's a V engine layout, and it needs 2 to keep it simple, unlike a sequential twin turbo, which is intended to reduce lag. or twin SCROLL turbos (can be single) which reduce lag.

Yes you are correct, although I would take a GNX any day over a Supra, just because of the historical value, not to mention monetary value. They are super cool cars. I agree with you about getting a Supra to 500, although it would be much more cost effective to buy a 1980s Mustang and drop a 500 hp 302, 331, 347, or 351 in it.

false. the supra has an L6 layout which means it is an in-line 6 cylinder but you are right that it is sequential twin turbo so there is less lag. my friend has one running 1psi more than stock with intake and exhaust and it is 400+hp
