If I did, I would have written, "translation: ICHI NI," instead of "pronounced: ICHI NI." Just as foreign language teachers might suggest visual cues to help students remember foreign words-- in this case, the sensation to remember numbers, the joke was how the Japanese could remember the English term for an itchy knee-- that is, numbers as a way to remember term for the sensation.
