Here is my thoughts about this. It scares me even at 17 Giygus might be controling this console It Never WORKS! It scares me more than anything.. Well not everything. Its My worst nightmare. I don't know.. having to send a $300 piece of equipment back to microsoft for repair is just slightly more annoying then having to blow on a freaking cartridge once or twice. Not to defend the quality of the Jaguar or anything, but I have just as much trouble getting my n64 carts to work as my Jag carts

Many of the Atari Jag Cd units were Faulty but I happen to know that there are a few that still work,Although the chances are rare as grabbing a diamond from quartz .

The Atari Jaguar CD has been a hardware failure. And almost of this, Atari Jaguar's CD games almost have the Red Screen of Death (RSOD), so I guess that possibly Atari Jaguar CD-add on, one of the worst add-ons ever to be made.

the only real way i know of how to fix the red screen is to thermal shock your system (no joke) unplug the console and place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes, then remove it and place it in a microwave on high for about 45 seconds...i tried it once and it worked for me, im not fucking kidding lol

he could have checked the voltage output from the powerpack as it may be lower than required, due to the pack being old. also there could be dry joints on the circuitry which he could have resoldered. plus a bunch of other crap i cba to type ;)

This particular Red Screen was caused by a dusty cart, well a cart that had been left in its box a while. In my experience certain carts seem to give more hassle than others but they always get going after a few tries. I'm sure some Jags may have dusty cart slots but that's nothing an air-duster won't fix.
