@aammdj wow, someone is mad at their life. Sorry, ps3 is a 3d blu ray player, and yes, I do enjoy video games. I'm 27, I'm married. I enjoy home theater. Sorry if you didn't like it. There were absolutely no reviews online for this tv so I made one. If you wouldn't checked my other videos you would've seen calibration settings for live cable, bluray, ps3, and xbox 360. Pointless, silly review. When you review a TV of this caliber (btw, whats the refresh rate?) your primary source should be LIVE HD BROADCAST! Not friggin VIDEO GAMES. What are you...13? To best examine image quality, clarity, flesh tones and refresh rate, you examine how the set performs with live HD broadcasts. Not one time do you go to such images. You discuss 2 different gaming consoles. Thats fantastic, if youre some infantile video game addict. Ridiculous...really.
@florian808 yea switch the audio to bitstream direct on the ps3 and select 5.1 in manual setup. It may be the surround receiver as well if the problem continues. I had to get an onkyo system for it to work properly.
Hey, I just bought the Sharp LC40LE830U. I am having a A/V issue. When I play a blu ray on my ps3 I get it. I have the PS3 hooked up via HDMI to the tv and optical from the ps3 to my speakers. However if I use the optical out on the tv to speakers I have no lag but the audio is only in 2.1. Any suggestions?
Does anybody know if the remote has a guide feature for channels instead of just up/down button so you can skip to channel faster. i just got the 70" Aquos model with the same menu and I can't believe it doesn't even have a guide feature with is very common on all HDTV.
hey man i need ur help. i dont know which one to get between samsung dv8000 tv, sony bravia xbr hx929 or the sharp aquous quattron. i love this 3. im using in primary for my ps3. which will have the best result? for gaming graphics. thanks bro
Hy! I have Sharp LC40LE810E and I wanted to ask do you have any problems with Full HD movies? I have plug in my hdd 500GB and played pirates of carebbean 1920 x 800 and it have some blur on picture, picture is not so sharp as fullHD movies are. Do you know how to fix this?

@sambrsr97 yes there is. On the remote press AV mode until it switches to game. Calibrated for picture quality and enjoy. This tv features vyper drive game mode which completely eliminates input lag. Check my other videos for professional calibration
@fromrussiawiluv Which samsung did you get? Is the 2d picture better than this quattron? How is the samsung for gaming? I'm burning out my brain trying to pick a new tv.
@87sherwood The sharp one got better input lag but a bit of blue/purple trailing, but the samsung got rather bad input lag and i rather take the trailing over input lag.
Bought this TV yesterday and I was in awe how it looks. Hooked up my PS3 and strted playing Infamous and it was a totally new experience. Wife did Zumba today and the colours were absolutely stunning. HDTV Looks even better. Sound was better then I expected. Amazing simply amazing.
@DreiRN depends.....LED is good for games....and of course LED is still an LCD tv just backlit With LED lights rather than Fluorescent tubes. Plasma is great for movies.....plasma is the best thing to get if you watch movies primarily, LED is better for games cuz of burn in problems on plasma with keeping the same image on screen for long periods of time. I have both. I have this quattron that is no longer in the living room, and i just recently bought a 52" Plasma 3D for the living room.
@fromrussiawiluv Ok.. thanks for the info. How about the electricity consumption? Which is better?LED or Plasma? We have and LCD HDTV and it works well on xbox 360.. i don't have any bluray player but i'm using my laptop as a multimedia player connecting it through HDMI.
I just picked up the 70inch LED flagship model today at hh greg for 3200 with slim wall mount and a 5 year warranty! Its on special order from japan unfortunately
i just bought the same 52" Sharp Quattron LED LCD from best buy, for $1.299.00, got the 4 year service warranty, my question is did you have to have your set calibrated, extra $129.00 for the Geek squad to come out and the the color calibration, did you have any of these done, ? and if not, does this sound like snake oil, thanks for any help, Tom
Thanks for the reply to my question, Yes it is 120Hz, after doing a lot of research I truly think Best Buy and the Geeks are out to stick it to there customers, it was $199,00 plus tax,I Still didn't let the Geeks come out and scam me, So i went back to Best Buy and they the Geeks told me they didn't even have the right tuner and other crap to do these type of Sharp 4 colors HD LED TV, Also told me that the 52" Sharp Quattron LED LCD didn't need calibration,,,These TV are the Best.
how are u able to watch matrix on netflix & i also have this tv in a 60inch,i searched for it on netflix & found it,but its only available to rent on dvd
i hope this tv is good as you and many other reviews say. i just ordered the LC-40LE810UN for $772 off of amazon should be coming in this tuesday. I own a samsung un46b6000 already so hopefully its as good or better.
Ridiculous. No Really Ridiculous. Is it ridiculous or is is no wait ridiculous. Wow I didn't quite get all of your review. Wasn't sure if I heard you correctly did you say ridiculous? Please I am asking you to use the word more often. repeating it 3000 times isn't quite enough.
@paednoch hater..........sorry man, I didn't script this or anything, just trying to do it from the fly. I realized I said rediculous alot but I was in awe from the difference of my philips lcd which I donated when I got this, my panasonic viera plasma(bedroom) and then.......the quattron. Which is a beast.what can I say......the tv is rediculous
@fromrussiawiluv : "redicolous"- in the comparisons' images of Sharp advertisements, the red color is missing! So, what can you say about the rendering of red on your TV?
@CrazyJ19 im not sure.i got it from walmart.think it was like 3 or 4 hundred bucks.and no.it has 120 hz motion enhancement so there is no blur and for games .alot of people dont realize that when you play a game it has to be in "GAME" AV MODE, alot of people will refuse to play it in game cuz it disables the 120hz becuase there isnt a single game that runs above 60hz . but when enabling 120hz in another mode it actually creates blur cuz it refreshes faster than the game. no comp. yes s vid
You have a very pleasant voice and manner, ideal for video presentations. Please edit the aahh's and umm's. To spare us sea-sickness, place your camera on a solid surface. Perhaps stop the camera, and turn the TV around before you explain about the connections. Other than that it was very informative preview.
How far is your seating distance from the TV? I am wondering between a 46" and 52". I am about 9 feet from the TV. Wondering if 52" would be too big and go with the safest bet with the 46".
@Guibsx 9 feet is almost the exact distance I am from my tv and anything bigger is too much, anything smaller not enough....52 is the perfect size for 8-10 feet.
Smaller pixels equal finer image, now I understand there are still 1920 x 1080 pixels in the screen, but they are much smaller due to having four instead of three, I have literally compared and calibrated over 20 new televisions side by side before I bought this......this has the best picture, THAT is the reason I chose this tv, the for colors just happen to be part of the package. Obviously this tv has intrigued you....why else would you search it?
Urgh! I hate the term LED tv! This is a LCD TV that's back lit with LEDs There is no such thing as a LED tv yet except for OLED tv which still has some kinks. This whole 4th yellow sub pixel makes no sense unless the source also uses a yellow sub pixel (which they don't). According to Raymond Soneira, president of DisplayMate Technologies expanded color gamuts are just gimmicks that make consumers think they are getting something better. So what comes next? 5 color subpixels?
@madzyzome hence the reason I described it as an led lcd tv.as far as the fourth sub pixel....do more research, films and other media are currently being recorded in 4r primary color, and I'm here to tell you as a witness, it still makes a difference. Obviously it works, samsung sony and lg have all bought the rights to manufacture tv with 4 primary sub pixels into the 2011 lineup of their tvs.not only does the color look more accurate, it allows for a sharper picture. More pixels equals smaller
@fromrussiawiluv The fact that other companies are jumping on the band wagon would only mean that it's a gimmick that works. If people are flocking to this thing because of the yellow subpixle then it is excellent marketing strategy. In reality it doesn't matter what you or I think looks better or looks to have more accurate color. Only true double blind scientific tests can come to that conclusion which is the quattron does not. Indeed it had over saturated colors and motion artifacts.
@madzyzome I'm sorry.......there is absolutely nothing in this world that is going to tell me what looks better to me......and if you read the reviews.....the colors look over saturated with factory settings........as do all tv's.they are meant to, that way they stand out on the showroom floor. I'm telling you, I have professionally calibrated this tv and the colors do not look over saturated and it has the sharpest and most clear looking picture of any tv I have ever seen
@fromrussiawiluv Well it's your tv so you may have some bias there. All I can tell you is that the unbiased conclusion done by a lab (DisplayMate Technologies) under controlled scientific testing procedures did not have high praises for the quattron. There is a very detailed review on this television here: dl(dot)maximumpc(dot)com/Archives/MPC0710-web.pdf (replace the (dot) with the correct punctuation). You really don't have to take my word for it.
@madzyzome ok.......your not quite catching on.....I had about 2500 to spend on a tv, I searches for months looking, I tried a samsung 8 series........returned, I tried a bravia.........returned.........then i tried the quattron.....kept it........my point is that of out of the 20 some tv's I researched, tried, calibrated etc........this is the best picture quality and clarity.......THAT is why I like it.....the yellow sub pixel is just an added bonus
@fromrussiawiluv I never had a doubt that you personally think this is a TV with a nice picture. All I am saying it that if you test dozens of TVs under controlled circumstances I doubt the Quattron would come out top. You tried 2 and no plasmas either so you will forgive me if I take your opinion with a grain of salt.
@fromrussiawiluv: I've read somewhere on the Internet that all Quattron models can not read subtitles from a USB drive! How is your experience with that?
is this the 810 or the 820 model? one more thing when your playing games on the game mode does it dim the screen and disable the 120hz? thanks in advance
@Fabolous206 810 model.....yes it dims the screen but i adjust all the settings for game mode individually anyways.........and no 120 hz is not disabled....
@fromrussiawiluv sorry for all the questions lol but i have another one, i was watching a cnet review on this tv and they said that the blues look green and this tv is only good if u like too watch fields of sun flowers and jazz documentary's. Is this true?
What bugs me is that Sharp seem to have fallen for the fashion of making the screen surface glossy like a mirror - with no anti-reflection coating. This really bugs me. I don't want to see distracting reflections of every object and light source in the room. I'm in the market for a 65" but won't be buying a glossy screen. I want to watch TV, not a reflection of my living room!!
@MMGWsceptic guess you wont be buying an LED then because all LED's have a gloss finish.......and you dont see reflections when there is a picture on the screen....only when its totally black.
@fromrussiawiluv What about during a scene during the night - when the hero is creeping around in the dark. Suddenly 2 fat people sitting on a sofa appear in the middle of the scene. Very atmospheric.
@ctvalen09 I just used an hdmi cable and hooked it up into input 5 . Make sure that when you are playing a game that you are in "game" av mode in order to eliminate input lag.
I'm glad I've found this review. Thanks for your labor with this vid and for answering that many comments. By reading at all of them, most of my doubts were solved.
Mainly the decision about SHARP Quattron or Samsung LED. Which you have already stated that Sharp Quattron LED LCD beats any Samsung LED model performance.
@r2d2sz no problem...i am glad i could help, i know when i was going through the grouling process of buying a new tv i wished i had this vid because i couldnt find a single review for it that showed it in action. thats why i made it. its nice to know that i could help another make the decision. and yes....samsung wouldve been my second choice.....amazing tv's...truly....but sharp is a step above.
@Rafito74 Hi, some friends of ours recently bought a Samsung 50" and they said that even though their TV is fantastic, if you can afford to spend a bit more, it is worth it. The Samsungs were expected to live max. 20 years while the Sharp were given 30-50 years. Unless you are the type who buys to keep up with the latest, if you're looking for value, I would recommend the Sharp.
@srgloureiro It was a survey of the life expectancy of Samsung and Sharp products in general. Samsung is a Korean giant that make flashy products lasting an average of ten years when used at full potential, with Televisions being at the top (max 20 years). Sharp is a slightly lesser-known Japanese manufacturor who are known to make better quality, although perhaps slightly less spectacular, electronics, again the Televisions being at the high end.
@Fabolous206 this tv had the vyper gaming drive designed specifically to minimize input lag. This has a 4 ms response time. The fastest in the industry.
@fromrussiawiluv im sorry i had originally posted that this tv had a 4 ms response time....but after looking at the manual i am seeing that the vyper drive game mode completely eliminates all input lag and has a response time of 1 ms while in game mode on the tv. it has a native 4 ms response time.
@SNZFAN ive had the chance to compare almost 20 tv's side by side. i chose the sharp over all becuase it is the best in my oinion. it was a little more expensive at the time.......but it is well worth it.
just to clear everything up for everyone about LED and LCD, i found a website that gives a simple easy explaination. just go to google and type in " difference between LED and LCD and its the first result that comes up.
@DaBrownBeast LED and LCD arent really different display options........When a tv is called an LED tv it isnt actually referring to LED's making the picture....thats impossible. LED's are small Small lights. The only difference is the backlight source, which improves picture quality, brightness levels, contrast levels, etc. The reason LED tvs are so thin is because they are lit by LED lights. Where as conentional LCD tv's are actually lit by Flourescent tubes, thats why they are kinda fat.
Now this is the 810 correct? because I could only find alot of info (on things like the Viper drive) for the 920. Also, would you think everything good about your 52" would translate to the 60"? because what I'm getting is the Sharp Quattron 60" LC-60LE810UN. Just don't wanna make a $2000 mistake. lol
@JoshyuaTV i would say go ahead and get it. just make sure you are at least 12-15 ft away or you will find yourself with a headache from moving your eyes so much to see everything on the screen. i bought my 52 for 2500 bucks when they first came out and if you can get a 60 for 2000 then thats a smokin ass deal. you wont be dissapointed.
I've worked with a research company, engineers who were developing a new upgrade to improve the internal cost for suppliers by replacing a certain part of the tv.. so I've learnt a bit of really good info. this tv is impressive, I think it's one of the highest qualities out there, the colors not only speak for the tv quality but the imaging is amazing especially the dimensions of the image itself. this LED is far superior, we purchase this yesterday. so never mind the ranting ppl here
@acidfire68594 please stop your rediculous ranting, i dont want to have to block you from my vids as they are supposed to be educational and informational to all who are considering this television. if you dont stop with the ranting then i have no choice.you dont like the tv.ok, fine. ive had the opportunity to compare almost 20 tvs and the reason i chose this one is because it DID stand out from every other tv.take your jealousy somewhere else please.
@acidfire68594 These LCDs look brighter and more colorful than almost every TV that I've seen, so unless everyone who owns them is lying, you most definitely CAN see it.
@acidfire68594 wow, you obviously know nothing of the color spectrum.the human eye sees color in rgb true, but we are also able to see millions of shades that cannot be reproduced with conventional rgb.the three primary color s are red blue and yellow.by adding yellow sharp is able to reproduce more shades of color, up to a billion more.obviously it works, samsung sony and lg have all adopted the technology into their next years lineup of televisions.
wow, you're obviously an art major. no one else could possibly be that stupid.
the eye sees in Red Green and Blue and any shade you can make out of those three colors which includes everything on the "yellow" spectrum. prime colors have NOTHING to do with the way the eye works and how you see things.
and the only thing that has worked was Sharp convinced millions of idiots like you to buy a standard LED tv with a special name.
@acidfire68594 art major....ha....not hardly. actually i am a CEDIA certified, Home Electronics Installation Contractor. I know what im talking about. Ill post a video explaining it. check back tomorrow around 3 pm EST.
@acidfire68594 also.....you kind of contradicted yourself within your own statement. primary colors have nothing to do with the way we see things? how could that be? especially considering we chose those as the primary colors because our eyes process the combination of those into other colors that the human eye can differentiate. rgb reflects off of the mirrors in our eyes , therefore creating the color spectrum we see. but when we combine yellow with other colors it makes many more shades.
Red Blue and Yellow are primary ART colors because you can use those color paints to make any other color paint. regardless of what color paint you can make, your eyes will only ever see in RED GREEN AND BLUE. how many times do you want me to tell you? you can add how ever many fucking colors you want. you're only going to see red green and blue. and so what if you're certified to plug in a fucking television, that doesn't mean you know shit about any of this.
@wwefan435 actually this tv doesnt flicker even the slightest, what u r seeing is actually an effect caused from recording a tv with such a high refresh rate. the "flicker" is actually horizontal lines progressively refreshing. this is completely invisible to the naked eye.so..................yea. this tv has never flickered, flipped, flopped, falangied or otherwise for me ;) its literally the best tv i have ever had the honor to lay eyes upon.
is this tv good for sports cause we want to get this one or eiter panasonic 58 inch plasma cause i watch alot of sports basketball football etc.. because i dont think 120hz is enough for sports and the plama is 600hz
@davidvela512 yes, it will work fine for sports, plasmas do have amazing refresh rates but there are also a thousand other negative factors to buying them......hence the reason they are so much cheaper than lcd. if you put it on 120 hz motn enhancement with film mode on then sports look pretty amazing, im not a big sports guy but i am a hardcore UFC fanatic and it looks really good with the settings i just provided, and thats alot of fast moving action. well, i hope that answered your Q. thanks
@davidvela512 if you want the BEST for sports and high moving scenes, and you absalutley really want it for sports. Then get the plasma. Plasma is beats other tv's in its response time and its quality in picture. The down side to plasma is the " screen burn in " which can be fixed using a program on the tv that " washes " it out. But if you want the best for sports, then plasma is the best. I have a samsung 55 LED . its awesome. also LED's and lcd's last longer than plasma. Atleast 2X as long.
hey buddy playing rockband is fukin horrible the motion flow fucks it up anyway to turn it off sometimes or any idea to help it play better other then that love it
@iluvithaha you have to put your tv in "game" av mode.then make any adjustments from there. Calibrate rock band with your tv from the options menu in the game, and you should be set.
@fthis12345 I would go with the sharp......as I did.I had my selection of any tv in the store when I bought it.I didn't pick this tv based on budget, I picked it because it performed the best out of every other tv I saw. Def go with sharp
Funny though my PS3 loads netflix way faster then your tv. It takes around 10 - 15 sec for the netflix to load and then around 5 - 7 sec to load a movie. What is your internet speed?

It is in Spainish as the Sharp Europe's site does not provide this kind of info in English or Portuguese.

i just bought the same 52" Sharp Quattron LED LCD from best buy, for $1.299.00, got the 4 year service warranty, my question is did you have to have your set calibrated, extra $129.00 for the Geek squad to come out and the the color calibration, did you have any of these done, ? and if not, does this sound like snake oil, thanks for any help, Tom
redzipperhead 11 months ago
@redzipperhead is that the 120hz model you purchased?
ballathug69 11 months ago
@ballathug69

@fromrussiawiluv : "redicolous"- in the comparisons' images of Sharp advertisements, the red color is missing! So, what can you say about the rendering of red on your TV?
srgloureiro 1 year ago
I have a couple of questions:
1. What TV stand is that? It matches the color of the walls of my basement and speakers. Definitely looking for something like it.
2. I read on the message boards that some people are experiencing a really blurry image during fast scenes, especially with gaming. Is this true?
3. Does this TV have any A/V composite and S-Video inputs? Sometimes I want to play retro games. If not, I will get a receiver with HDMI passthrough.
Thank you for you time.
CrazyJ19 1 year ago
@CrazyJ19 im not sure.i got it from walmart.think it was like 3 or 4 hundred bucks.and no.it has 120 hz motion enhancement so there is no blur and for games .alot of people dont realize that when you play a game it has to be in "GAME" AV MODE, alot of people will refuse to play it in game cuz it disables the 120hz becuase there isnt a single game that runs above 60hz . but when enabling 120hz in another mode it actually creates blur cuz it refreshes faster than the game. no comp. yes s vid

vivatotti10 1 year ago
Smaller pixels equal finer image, now I understand there are still 1920 x 1080 pixels in the screen, but they are much smaller due to having four instead of three, I have literally compared and calibrated over 20 new televisions side by side before I bought this......this has the best picture, THAT is the reason I chose this tv, the for colors just happen to be part of the package. Obviously this tv has intrigued you....why else would you search it?
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
5 color subpixels?
madzyzome 1 year ago
@madzyzome hence the reason I described it as an led lcd tv.as far as the fourth sub pixel....do more research, films and other media are currently being recorded in 4r primary color, and I'm here to tell you as a witness, it still makes a difference. Obviously it works, samsung sony and lg have all bought the rights to manufacture tv with 4 primary sub pixels into the 2011 lineup of their tvs.not only does the color look more accurate, it allows for a sharper picture. More pixels equals smaller
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@fromrussiawiluv The fact that other companies are jumping on the band wagon would only mean that it's a gimmick that works. If people are flocking to this thing because of the yellow subpixle then it is excellent marketing strategy. In reality it doesn't matter what you or I think looks better or looks to have more accurate color. Only true double blind scientific tests can come to that conclusion which is the quattron does not. Indeed it had over saturated colors and motion artifacts.
madzyzome 1 year ago
@madzyzome I'm sorry.......there is absolutely nothing in this world that is going to tell me what looks better to me......and if you read the reviews.....the colors look over saturated with factory settings........as do all tv's.they are meant to, that way they stand out on the showroom floor. I'm telling you, I have professionally calibrated this tv and the colors do not look over saturated and it has the sharpest and most clear looking picture of any tv I have ever seen
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@fromrussiawiluv Well it's your tv so you may have some bias there. All I can tell you is that the unbiased conclusion done by a lab (DisplayMate Technologies) under controlled scientific testing procedures did not have high praises for the quattron. There is a very detailed review on this television here: dl(dot)maximumpc(dot)com/Archives/MPC0710-web.pdf (replace the (dot) with the correct punctuation). You really don't have to take my word for it.
madzyzome 1 year ago
@madzyzome ok.......your not quite catching on.....I had about 2500 to spend on a tv, I searches for months looking, I tried a samsung 8 series........returned, I tried a bravia.........returned.........then i tried the quattron.....kept it........my point is that of out of the 20 some tv's I researched, tried, calibrated etc........this is the best picture quality and clarity.......THAT is why I like it.....the yellow sub pixel is just an added bonus
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@fromrussiawiluv I never had a doubt that you personally think this is a TV with a nice picture. All I am saying it that if you test dozens of TVs under controlled circumstances I doubt the Quattron would come out top. You tried 2 and no plasmas either so you will forgive me if I take your opinion with a grain of salt.

Fabolous206 1 year ago
What bugs me is that Sharp seem to have fallen for the fashion of making the screen surface glossy like a mirror - with no anti-reflection coating. This really bugs me. I don't want to see distracting reflections of every object and light source in the room. I'm in the market for a 65" but won't be buying a glossy screen. I want to watch TV, not a reflection of my living room!!
MMGWsceptic 1 year ago
@MMGWsceptic guess you wont be buying an LED then because all LED's have a gloss finish.......and you dont see reflections when there is a picture on the screen....only when its totally black.
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@fromrussiawiluv What about during a scene during the night - when the hero is creeping around in the dark. Suddenly 2 fat people sitting on a sofa appear in the middle of the scene. Very atmospheric.

@TheRebekahBlog: where did you get the info about the "Life expectancy" of the TVs?
srgloureiro 1 year ago
@srgloureiro It was a survey of the life expectancy of Samsung and Sharp products in general. Samsung is a Korean giant that make flashy products lasting an average of ten years when used at full potential, with Televisions being at the top (max 20 years). Sharp is a slightly lesser-known Japanese manufacturor who are known to make better quality, although perhaps slightly less spectacular, electronics, again the Televisions being at the high end.

LED LCD? How the fuck does that work
atreyu2ty 1 year ago
@atreyu2ty well instead of regular flourescent tubes as the backlight they use LED lights instead.
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@fromrussiawiluv but isnt, LED and LCD both different display options?.. does this tv implement both LED and LCD then?
DaBrownBeast 1 year ago
@DaBrownBeast LED and LCD arent really different display options........When a tv is called an LED tv it isnt actually referring to LED's making the picture....thats impossible. LED's are small Small lights. The only difference is the backlight source, which improves picture quality, brightness levels, contrast levels, etc. The reason LED tvs are so thin is because they are lit by LED lights. Where as conentional LCD tv's are actually lit by Flourescent tubes, thats why they are kinda fat.

fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@acidfire68594 These LCDs look brighter and more colorful than almost every TV that I've seen, so unless everyone who owns them is lying, you most definitely CAN see it.
vantageIIx 1 year ago
To the gentleman who purchased this TV,
I hate to break it to you but you were ripped off.
the human eye can only see 3 colors: Red, Green & Blue.
they can go ahead and SAY they've added a "yellow" but it's all bullshit.
the picture quality might be good, but it's no better than any other LED tv, you've probably spent an extra $500 for a color that's not even there.
acidfire68594 1 year ago
@acidfire68594 wow, you obviously know nothing of the color spectrum.the human eye sees color in rgb true, but we are also able to see millions of shades that cannot be reproduced with conventional rgb.the three primary color s are red blue and yellow.by adding yellow sharp is able to reproduce more shades of color, up to a billion more.obviously it works, samsung sony and lg have all adopted the technology into their next years lineup of televisions.
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@fromrussiawiluv
wow, you're obviously an art major. no one else could possibly be that stupid.
the eye sees in Red Green and Blue and any shade you can make out of those three colors which includes everything on the "yellow" spectrum. prime colors have NOTHING to do with the way the eye works and how you see things.
and the only thing that has worked was Sharp convinced millions of idiots like you to buy a standard LED tv with a special name.
acidfire68594 1 year ago
@acidfire68594 art major....ha....not hardly. actually i am a CEDIA certified, Home Electronics Installation Contractor. I know what im talking about. Ill post a video explaining it. check back tomorrow around 3 pm EST.
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@acidfire68594 also.....you kind of contradicted yourself within your own statement. primary colors have nothing to do with the way we see things? how could that be? especially considering we chose those as the primary colors because our eyes process the combination of those into other colors that the human eye can differentiate. rgb reflects off of the mirrors in our eyes , therefore creating the color spectrum we see. but when we combine yellow with other colors it makes many more shades.
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@fromrussiawiluv

Garbage tv, it flickers like hell.
wwefan435 1 year ago
@wwefan435 actually this tv doesnt flicker even the slightest, what u r seeing is actually an effect caused from recording a tv with such a high refresh rate. the "flicker" is actually horizontal lines progressively refreshing. this is completely invisible to the naked eye.so..................yea. this tv has never flickered, flipped, flopped, falangied or otherwise for me ;) its literally the best tv i have ever had the honor to lay eyes upon.
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
is this tv good for sports cause we want to get this one or eiter panasonic 58 inch plasma cause i watch alot of sports basketball football etc.. because i dont think 120hz is enough for sports and the plama is 600hz
davidvela512 1 year ago
@davidvela512 yes, it will work fine for sports, plasmas do have amazing refresh rates but there are also a thousand other negative factors to buying them......hence the reason they are so much cheaper than lcd. if you put it on 120 hz motn enhancement with film mode on then sports look pretty amazing, im not a big sports guy but i am a hardcore UFC fanatic and it looks really good with the settings i just provided, and thats alot of fast moving action. well, i hope that answered your Q. thanks
fromrussiawiluv 1 year ago
@davidvela512 if you want the BEST for sports and high moving scenes, and you absalutley really want it for sports. Then get the plasma. Plasma is beats other tv's in its response time and its quality in picture. The down side to plasma is the " screen burn in " which can be fixed using a program on the tv that " washes " it out. But if you want the best for sports, then plasma is the best. I have a samsung 55 LED . its awesome. also LED's and lcd's last longer than plasma. Atleast 2X as long.
