Ignore the other comments. Co2 works fine with the SP-1 even though compressed air is ideal. And about accuracy and power, it's irrelevant. All paintball guns are just as "Powerful" as others. Accuracy has to do with the kind of paint your shooting.
U should have atleast said how fast the full auto can go, that there is 3 burst, and talked a little about how you can get a black heart board for the marker. And so you guys know the marker is ok to use co2 it won't screw up the gun unless u try to screw it up. U can program the chip for co2 or air. Out of the box it is programed for co2.
if you just got the gun why are you putting a review up. get some boxs of paint and use them up then mak a review maybe it will be beter then "it is a good marker for the price, it shoots where i want"

its an amazing gun really accurate easy to clean the bolt comes out of the back you can mod it REALLY easy and there is a lot you can do you really need to get a force feed hopper i got the view loader reveloution with the x board its 50 bucks and keeps up with the gun really well
If by real paintball fields you mean supair fields, then the Invert Mini would be the better of the two. But its dependent on your budget, and how much of which you are going to play. I'd personally get an Etek or second hand Ego. But then Im an Eclipse fan. If you can stretch to it, get an SP1 for your woodsball days, and a Mini for your Supair days :)
listen to nelaHnaVeiddE, this guy knows what he is talking about. If you use co2, you could get liquid co2 into your regulator, which will expand rappidly and ruin your internals. HPA is much better for your gun, and most fields fill it for much cheeper than co2, some fields fill it for free. If you can afford it, always go for HPA because usually its cheeper in the long run when you considder the cost of refilling your tanks

The Sp-1 is a great marker for 149.99/174.99. A light weight milsim electro, with little kick, decent on air, w/ an accurate stock barrel. 10+ bps, stock board.
Great for beginners and casual players, very little maintenance. If your a regular player that doesn't want to break the bank.. the SP-1 is a good choice.
Spend the extra $80 and get an HPA tank and a better loader. Not Co2 and a Grav-fed hopper.

I mostly agree, I don't think tippmanns are all that great even though I have had 4. I think spyders sucked ass for the longest time but their getting much better over the past 6 years (a different factory must be specking them now). Now Smart Parts has always shot incredibly well but only recently has their durability come up to par with tippmann. They Keep It up and they will soon dominate the market, they just need to work on more styles of milsim and maintain their durability.
the sp-1 is one of the best markers i bought so far. i have a spider electra 05, tippmann custom 98 and then i decided to buy the sp-1 i bought mine for $145 first of all the price was one of the main reasons why i bought it, it has great accuracy, really easy to clean, and look nice you can't beat it for the price it works ok in cold weather but i live in ca so i dont have to worry to much, dose not chop balls at all. sorry i cant go in detail but overall great marker not good GREAT!
well it obviously more reliable because its a tippmann...the stock barrel is longer which really doesnt say much but it is still longer than the sp1....it comes with the cyclone feed which can go up to 15 bps unless u get the vortex mod then it can go up to 23 bps...it is very easy to take apart and maintain all the way down to the valve and its small parts....and the biggest thing of all---it can upgraded and acessorized in so many ways for woodsball and speedball
Length of barrel does not help anything other then making it quiter, if it has more porting. I had an a-5 for 5 years or so and put well over $1000 in upgrades into just the marker. Honestly I think the Sp1 is a much better value and has a lot less head aches. Too Many Moving Parts, leads to problems.
I just read in last months Action Pursuit Games that a Barrel length over 6 inches does not help accuracy. Barrel bore is the most important factor as well as quality of paint. Do you have two piece barrel? take the tip off and test for yourself. I myself prefer a longer barrel of 14" because it makes judging distances easier, but it is cool to take the tip off for a loud effect and for tight places. Why the Name Calling by the way?
