  • i can't wait for the next 20 years because there is a much smaller gas cloud falling into the center of our galaxy - will look awesome!

  • erm shit..........?

  • i thought there was Already a smbh in the center of our galaxy. and i thought it was billions not millions the weight of the sun. there is an inconsistency in astronomy to what the numbers are. i have heard estimations for the number of stars in the milky way ranging from 50bil to 400bil, all from credible & famous astronomers. now, many think there is a universe inside every smbh, doesn't it turn the matter into radiation and vent it like the vid shows? just too complicated to agree on i guess.

  • @metalhanded There is a SMBH already. They are talking about the MASS OF THE CLOUD that is to be sucked in, not the black hole.

  • @metalhanded no.

as clonetrooper says it's the mass of the gascloud

the to the number of stars - the better our technology get's the more stars we find (which we couldn't see before because to small) so data gets outdated quite quickly

then to the question of the jets - it shoots stuff out which didn't make it into the event horizon the rest falls in.. what is in smbh nobody really knows as we can't collect any information from it apart from the mass itself - but there is the holograme theory

  • i wonder what kind of affect this will have on the amdromita galaxies collision which will happen around the same time, in a universe where the energy of the future initiates its own reaction in the past, it can be said that the future is predetermined. it can also be said that nothing is a coincidence and this may have some effect on some other event. everything is balance chemical reactions, even life. life is just a different scale to help move the chemicals around, free will is a illusion

  • If I ever heard a good argument for immortality, this is it.

  • I REALLY DONT THINK WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS JUST YET...

  • Steves inside :D

  • If that happens we and our planet will burn in 0.000000001 miliseconds we wont even know what happened

  • thats what happens every time I flush

  • How do they know this?

  • I saw 10 million years and said "Phew"

  • @elmarbischof *sigh*

  • 10 Million years ... damit ... probably wont be around to see it.

  • @00:28 FIRE THE ION CANNONS!

  • and then this will happen watch?v=w15nQHGn4Zk

  • What is to keep the radiation in a neat jet form? Why isn't it expelled from all sides?

  • @ketrel815 , its a magnectic pole thing for more information check out what happens when a binary star dies and what becomes of the other star , should get you on the right path....enjoy.

  • @ketrel815 the rotation, it is like a spinning top

  • @ketrel815 the ring of matter around the black hole is keeping the radiation from escaping... its like a giant led shielding that is almost non existent at the poles :)

  • wat a couple million years i dont have to worry about shit!

  • stop scaring me like that you re an idiot

  • Goku will save us!!! that's the big battle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahhaahahah funny videoo!!

  • Lol, why would people be scared of this? IMO, I think humanity would kill itself before the world even ends.

  • Omfgfm I hate school computers there so shit and slow and shit and shit and slow!

  • Why does it erupt 'vertically' ... What makes us think it isn't happening in our galaxy right now? You know, like when its foggy you cant see the fog in front of you but far away it looks dense.

Anyways, it makes you appreciate the time we have. I wonder what planet we will inhabit after this one. I Shoulda' read the extended mission briefing.

  • If this is a confirmation of Paul Laviolet´s theory we are not expecting this to happen in 10M years, actually this can be our way and there is no way knowing it is happening until it actually happens as it travels at the speed of light.

  • Damn! We only have 10 million years to get ready. We'd better get started.

  • stuff like this is what makes people go crazy an out of there mind i believe one thing an thats what the bible says

  • @jia7410 idiot

  • @jia7410 you idiotic monkey. i perfer scince than some idiots made up 'god'

  • @jia7410 BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA...

  • @jia7410 ... Why would this scare anybody? It's 10 million years away, I'm much more worried about getting run over when I cross the street.

  • @jia7410 I never understood why every time some documentary narrator anthropomorphizes a celestial object, you fundies start acting like there's a serial killing stalker waiting patiently outside your bedroom window.

    Reality check:

    A) This event won't occur for another 10 Myr.

    B) It will occur 20,000 light-years away

    C) The force it unleashes will focused in a direction perpendicular to our system's orbit around the galactic nucleus.

So, in 10.02 Myr, Sagittarius will look a bit brighter.

  • @jia7410 Fool !!! The bible is a human forgery to keep people in slavery. Exept it has been out dated for a 100 years.

Shut up and go watch religious crap! While you rott in ignorance we shall extend our knowladge of the universe.

Hopefully in a few hundred years we'll be rid of all you pathetic religious fools!

  • @jia7410 If you have nothing better to do than preach meaningless dribble on youtube, kindly insert a shotgun into your computers Hard Drive and pull the trigger.

  • @jia7410 noob! Don't dare discuss religion on a science video! And I'm a buddhist!

  • uuuh too many beans ^^

  • it's gods vacume cleaner DUH

  • @TheTiffayS lol things made simple

  • Um since were looking into the past when we look at stars and such wouldn't that mean it happened in the past? Even when we look at our own sun were seeing 8 minutes ago.

  • nice theory but how do you no this is gunna happen just a blind geuss is what i think

  • how do you guys no it would kill what if and im just saying it teleports us to another dimension nobody no until sum one goes in it ?

  • I thought I was watching a Gaga video....

  • Just think, at 1:58, all of those galaxies could contain life. Even magical organisms if possible, even aliens. It would be amazing to be able to go from galaxy to galaxy just exploring and find other life forms :)

  • @Djinnhydra Probably won't ever be possible. Galaxies are all millions of light years away. I believe Andromeda, the closest, is something like 2.5 million light years away. It is unlikely, unless some sort of shortcut of space travel is discovered, that we will ever make it to another galaxy, let alone much of our own.

  • This would be scary "Suicide" takemeh with ya

  • its funny because no matter whats happening earths spose to die out thousands of years before dis one :D

  • @OREOSify According to who?

  • I'm not afraid, the Jedi Knights will restore order and save us

  • by the time this happens the average human will = chuck norris and chuck norris will = hypernova. so by then humans will be able to go make friends with a bunch of aliens and fly away wooooohooooooo done.

  • ...And at the dead center of that inner ring, Chuck Norris shoots his load.

  • ...And at the dead center of that inner ring, Chuck Norris vents his inner rage.

  • intergalactial ejaculation..... -----0-----

  • where can i get that choir sound effect? at 1:43

  • where can i get that choir sound effect?

  • falcon punch at the galactic center

  • 10million years?

i think humanity is dead at that time..

    @darkcloud784 right?

  • @lesterdeecee right

  • I like the sounds at 1:43 - really spooky

  • Dam space you scary!!!

  • 0:49 its saurons eye!!!

  • sounds scary bbut the world will probaly end ethier by 2012 our we end up blowing earth up boom boom ethier way black hole 2012 our us were all fucked just being alive and even more fucked on how we die maybe well get lucky i hope

  • the world is going to be destroyed by nuclear fallout a lot sooner than this lol.

  • Will that trouble the Earth? Just wondering...

  • @agentnull1 Lets use this analogy. You take a rifle and a balloon into the middle of a large feild. You put the balloon somewhere near the edge of the feild and you go to the middle. you then shut your eyes and spin around really fast and randomly pull the trigger of your rife.

The odds of hitting that balloon are greater than one of these hitting us.

  • @purplehatcult That answers my question, thanks :)

  • @purplehatcult thats a good way to put it

  • @agentnull1 not in your lifetime.. You have heart disease, cancer, stroke and motor vehicle accidents to worry about... (the biggest killers in Western European society)

  • wish it would come earlier so I could see it, (no it wont harm us, the radiation is nowhere near us.

  • I would love to know how this is going to effect us and im pretty sure god will have ended the world before then trust me gid has everthing planned out and will keep us safe no need to worry

  • @Siren40vt Oh he does have a "plan" does he?

Is your or your loved ones untimely death, or the brutal rape of countless females, genocide of millions of people, ethnic cleansing, high rates of cancer, obesity, heart disease, F5 tornado strikes, earthquakes and the sexualisation of minors all part of gods plan as well? If god allows this to happen because it's part of his plan, I have huge bone to pick with god.

  • @cptstubing man you are stupid! this place isnt perfect and what created thiat huh bud and who created the big boom

  • @Siren40vt If god is almightly loving and caring, omiscient, omnipotent, and benevolent, he would see what is happening and help us, and help every living soul about to die a violent death at the hands of others.. God not helping us either means he:

    a) doesn't know about us (so NOT omniscient)

    b) can't do anything (so NOT omnipotent)

    c) doesn't care (so NOT benevolent)

The big boom? I don't know.. no one really knows, but science is looking, religion tends not to look too far from Pslams.

  • @cptstubing LOL ok you are truley reluctant well have fun with lucifer

  • @Siren40vt Ouch, sorry Siren... did I hit something close to home?

As I said earlier, you don't know anything, and I don't know anything... that is the truth, and the only truth there is. The book you call the bible is still just a book. You don't know if it's the truth or not, you just keep saying what others around you are saying :)

I don't blame you for believing it, but you don't know anything about it, and whether it is the honest truth or all just a nice story.... that I can assure you!

  • @Siren40vt I will have a fucking great time burning in hell. While you sit by and rot in the vast blackness of actual death. :3 Oh wait that means Ill be there too cause HELL ISNT REAL LOLOLOLOLOL the bible is just a really good childrens story for adults!

  • Continue with the operation, you may fire when ready.

  • Lol, love the fact that Van Halen is in the related vids :)

  • yeh if there is gonna be a 2012 end of world scenario.. This is defo more plausible than planet x or nibiru.. Or a huge solar eruption...

  • @MrLuvaluva67 But this isnt happening for another 10 million years.

  • @Jahklen we got alot of time to live :D well way too many years! since God is alive he will give us birth again! :D so no headache to take to the head :D

  • @psybera1987 Yes! I believe in god aswell. :)

  • @Jahklen 10 million years? This won't happen in 10 million years.

  • OR...or...nothing will happen and we will go about our lives.

  • that could take centuries

  • @richardmtl several MILLION centuries is more like it

  • The center of the black hole can only be seen at or near the south pole. Is that why I can't see itfrom the northern hemisphere? I mean if the center is bright I would think I would see it at night some time. But I did hear it is in the part of the sky called sagetirius. Is it possible that only the south pole faces the center of the minkeyway galaxy like the same side of the moon faces the Earth? I'm probably wrong. I was just wondering.

  • @bandet888 No you cannot see the center or any black hole whether in northern or southern hemisphere. You cannot see black holes in general. You can, however, detect them. If you are really interested in these kinds of things you should take an astronomy course in university. It is pretty fascinating (minus all the boring physics calculations) ;D

  • how can people be so retarded...

well i guess that's what i get when i search information on youtube

  • @RunescapeGoggleGuyz Your my hero. xD

  • BLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAA6%^&%^*YGHYUSZGWDYUT9&*TSEGFRD

  • its happening now /watch?v=SwXJf0bmCRc&feature=relmfu

  • go to 5 mins in

  • hypothetical

  • Reading comments on SpaceRip's videos is kinda of a reminder that were still unevolved primates, and not far from apes lol.

  • @dburford9 are u being serious cuz if u are ur stupid

  • QUASAR !

  • This is called a hyper nova and they actually happen more often that what you think. Right now we're actually staring down 2 stars that are about to collapse into a blackhole and then possibly create a hyper nova which would destroy everything in its path. Hyper novas release a HUGE amount of gamma radiation (yes I know it sounds made up but its not) which would scorch everything on our planet. The good news is, by the time we know its going to happen we would be dead.

  • @darkcloud784

    good news lol.

  • @darkcloud784 2012?

  • @darkcloud784 Are they close enough. Can you tell me the names of those stars?

  • @darkcloud784 So what your saying is that my great grandkids are screwed.

  • @darkcloud784 Just stop we all have a life to enjoy don"t make us waste it by worrying whats happening to the world.

  • @DreamingStarXOXO i agree weve all just need to ferget about end of the world crap and just celebrate that we r still alive or just be paranoid freaks about.

  • @darkcloud784 ok "Mr.scientist" how did you find this theory of this "Hypernova"

  • @darkcloud784 i see no hypernova here? :l just a black hole deleting a lot of gas. wheres the star? lol

  • @darkcloud784 That's very uplifting...

  • @darkcloud784 DO u mean, it would have killed us b4 we know it, or we will have all passed away b4 it happens?

  • Comment removed

  • @darkcloud784 wow just wow thats supposed to be good news?

  • @darkcloud784 So many ways our planet IS going to perish, the expantion of the sun at it's last million years, A quasar that I have forgotten the name of but we are staring down the barrel of it. Asteroid impacts all the time, Oh and yes the most scary one of all..Destruction of our selves..bloody humans why can't we get alone >:o

  • 1:30 SHOOOOP DA WOOOOOP!!!!!!

    IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZARRRRRRR!!!

  • @dburford9 You're funny.

  • @dburford9 You will be dead in 10 millions years anyways.

  • ya its called a Quasar

  • I FEEL SO HELPLESS AND LITTLE :(

  • @ryanrenesis its in 10 million years you will be dead

  • I would not wanna be in the way of that... thing.

  • @Desicionoflife thats what she said...

  • It's Firin It's Lazor

    Killing the Universe!

So y'all need to Hide your Earth

    Hide Ya Sun

    Hide Ya Earth

    Hide Ya Sun

    And Hide Ya Universe

Cus It's Killin Everything out there!

  • DAMN NATURE........YOU SCARY

  • It's just another to way to die! There can be no other reason why, you know we should have seen it coming, consequences we cannot deny- will be revealed in time. Glaciers melt as we pollute the sky, a sign of a devastation coming, we don't need another way to die -Can we repent in time?!

  • And thats how galaxies take a poo.

  • oh shit were all gonna fucking die in a few years

  • my ass

  • Uh oh. my spidey senses tell me..... BIG BOOM!

  • steven hawkens goes to the polar and it has A SIGN saying SORRY NOT WHEEL CHAIR ACCSESIBLE

  • @devilboyphantom actually Steven did visit Antartica, he has declared it his greatest memory.

  • @PeacefulParadox yeah, and the dumb ass must mean hawking.... if there is a sign that says no fucktards, i guess devilboy phantom won't be allowed either

  • WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!...?

  • @VikingBlud yup :)

  • @VikingBlud You're going to die sooner or later, just enjoy the present... :)

  • i love space

  • @MyTechnoLove i like space too. especially the legspace i have in the back of my car. ITS AWESOME

  • If you want to understand every concept of a black hole, spelunk the vast depths of Pamela Anderson ass. Should be relatively equivalent .

  • milky way is firing its "milk"

  • DAMN SPACE YOU SCARY

  • i didnt came here to watch lord of the rings!!:51s

  • milky way:imma firin mah lazar!

    me:no wait what aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!

  • This might already have happened you know... it's weird but this theory is true, if something is billions of lighyears away... the light we see from it also is from billions of years ago since that light had to travel to our planet... That means even the sun we see is the sun of 5 minutes ago. Think about it, that wave may already be on its way and we will only see it just before we get hit because it "nearly travels the speed of light"

  • @streetworst It wouldn't be coming in our direction though. We're in the disk, the streams of matter will shoot out perpendicular to the disk, because of the magnetic field.

Might have some other effect on us, but it wouldn't blast us apart.

  • @GhostInTheShell29 Hahaha that's all going a bit over my head atm. I don't really know a lot about the universe, this is just something i was thinking about and my teacher confirmed that we see everything a bit later than it actually is. But thanks for the information, helps me understand everything a bit better now I think about it...

  • hmm..I expected some stupid butthole jokes but none. Kinda let down ;)

  • @smokemaster79 who pulled the milky ways finger?

  • looks like oprah winfreys anus

  • @landwarrior01 whats no?

  • AWESOME

  • chuck norris galaxy soccer :)

  • I see Goku just got a power up. o__o

  • @DfluxY super saiyan 9001?!?!

  • soooooooooooo we are kinda fucked?

  • This huy has WAY to much time on his hands .... u shouldnt scare my my sister like that

  • its like a halo ring!

  • what a brain fryer the universe is

  • IMA FIRIN' MAH LAZOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DaniJ0515

fare enough, but science isnt afraid or too stuborn to admit that its wrong move forward and try to unravel and correct itself. and to figure out how to preserve we must learn how to make and learn how to destroy to avoid destruction

  • @DaniJ0515 The bible specifically states and implies in at least 3 places that the world is flat. Nowhere does it say it is any other shape.

That's the difference between science and religion. Science continuously corrects itself to be more right. Religion just stays being wrong.

  • @BlackRaptor31 would you like to be my best friend for ever?

  • @DaniJ0515 lol you're an idiot firstly look at all the harm religion causes THAT will be the reason if any that we destroy ourselves as a race, 2nd of all science is productive it is moving forward and furthering us as a species you needed science to type that message on the internet, the food you eat is kept hygienic because of science among the millions of other day to day things you take for granted. You're imaginary friend isn't to thank for any of it.

  • and the proof that this will happen was cut out off this video for what reason?

  • im no scientist..... but I think thats bad.... XD

  • @skaterpwnage13 No, you can chill out. We're on the outer arm of the disk of the galaxy. The jets will explode out of the two axis, in the complete opposite directions of us.

  • Comment removed

  • Can't a random star or black hole just hit us like tomorrow or even 5minutes from now?

  • Oh come on, we all know this is bullshit. Why? Because its irrelevant when everyone knows the Earth was created 6,500 years ago, that we're the center of the universe, and that God told us everything that there is to know in the bible, so why imagine things that aren't real???

  • @GooGobbler113 Umm, those aren't facts at all. Religion isn't a entire fact, a belief yes, not a fact. Theres no proof of God, just saying.

  • @DhWlol LMFAO wow, I really didn't think anyone was *that* blind to sarcasm. Have fun being confused everytime you see comedy for the rest of your life.

  • @GooGobbler113 ok chill i luv sarcasm its my life but they have a point yes god told us everthing we need to know but we are all still curious bout our home in the solar system

  • I personally think that the universe has a cycle. it is created from the big bang, it will eventually keep growing and after billions of years it will be scrolled up then return to its original state, then there will be another "big bang" in which a new universe will be created and new earth(s)..that cycle never ends. there could be millions of other planets like ours. humans were created out of dust and water (clay). different clay produces different skin color.
