Mamma sang and played the guitar, taught me about Jesus saving power! She was 33 when she died of ovarian cancer. I was 9 years old then and I am still here God ready and waiting.
I love Dottie, she was my music mentor and the Isaacs are right up there with her! Great song and I shared it on FB cause my mom died right before Mother's Day 8 years ago. <3
I too , lost my Dear mother On Oct.14 2010 an this song just lets me just sit back an think about my mother and get my greeving out for the day ! it has been so hard I miss her so bad! but I have a hope in Jesus to see her some day in heaven ! until then the Beautiful songs of the Issacs and sweet Dottie helps me day to day may Jesus always Shine down on you all !
Dottie touched my heart with her music when I was very young...and this song still makes me cry for my momma, who is in heaven and I think she is doing some teaching herself up there. But I just keep praying and having faith that one day I will meet here again.
LOVE & MISS U LOTS MOM...........12/07/1936--09/03/2009.......I know ur teaching the angels how to sing!! Its been almost 1 year (in 4 days) since you ""graduated"" from this life to your HOME ETERNAL, which still seems so UNreal that sometimes its hard to comprehend....but mom I KNOW that your healed & you have a new body!! Thank you HOOVER4000 for posting this video! Thank you DOTTIE RAMBO for sharing your talents with the world....Give my momma a hug for me!!!!
dear isacs family dottye was my friend for 30 years and i miss her. i wish she had you all to sing with her as a family instead of buck and reba. they hurt her so bad and they don't sound as good as you do. i love your singing styles. dottye said she loved you also. i miss my phone calls from her. i will meet you in the morning dottye. i know you teaching angels to sing. love, jan
The only thing I can remember about my natural mother was her angelic voice singing to me when I was just tiny before she died and I was adopted. This song sends chills all over me !!!
The only thing I can remember about my natural mother was her angelic voice singing to me when I was just tiny before she died and I was adopted. This song sends chills all over me !!!
This is sooo beautiful and touching! The only memory I have of my natural mother is her beautiful voice singing to me when I was just tiny. I was told that her voice was angelic and when I hear this song I think of her and I know heavens choir is so much prettier with her voice there. Dottie knew how to touch your heart with a song!!!
Did u know this was my aunt I miss her:(((((( :'( :'( No joke she was my aunt I am Carol which is Aunt Dotties brother :(((( I am his grandaughter! <3
People keep telling me there is no such song, bu i have it on an album she did with just Buck. I can't figure out one phrase no matter how many times i have
What lyrics! David lays down his harp and heavens bells won't ring when Momma's teaching angels how to sing. What a poet Dottie was. I miss her so much. I saw her at Dollywood the year before she went to be with Jesus. Thank God that her music remains to bless us.
I cry everytime I hear this song. It is such a beautiful song. I think it was fitting that it was sang at funeral/memorial service. I would like to think that someone would remake it, but I doubt anyone else could do it justice.
im sitting here crying like a baby and it feels pretty good as i remember my presious mother who is resting with the saviour she loved and told of him to me.thanks
Thanks to the one that posted this. My MAMA is in Heaven Today and I sang this song the June 23Rd last year in Memory of her. She passed away in 1990. I have been listening to the Rambos since I was a teenager. I have a lot of their record albums and still play them today. It was so sad the way she had to leave this world but in a way it was a Blessing. She isn't suffering any more. May God Bless Her family.
thank you Lord Jesus, for sister dottie's ministry on this earth. we know she is safe in your arms. "holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is and is to come" Hallelujah!
Wow! This beautiful tribute to a mother that has passed on crosses over all religions. I'll bet if more people were familiar with it we would hear it at all services for Mommas that have passed on.
I will never forget as a boy of 6 years old lying on the floor in our little Texas home in the days after my mother went to be with Jesus, listening to the Rambos singing this song, just picturing her there. It isn't hard to see Dottie there now. We are all richer for your journey here, dear sister.
And now Dottie is with mama and also singing with those angels. Rest in peace in His loving arms, dear sister. You now walk straight with no pain and the only arm you need now to lean on is His.
We had this sang at my Grandmother's funeral there was not a dry eye in the church when it was over! What a beautiful song by a beautiful lady Ms. Dottie WE LOVE YOU!
