  • those were the days when you could have success with simple music and songs. Well theres an end to everything.

  • Obviously they are time travellers. God you people are so thick at times.

  • 1:26 <3

  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!

  • Wolf-man too scary. lol

  • hes mad one second them makes a faggy face.

  • just curious about something... Were they just played in the movie or were they really a group?

  • @aRaLnOzA They were not a real group, they just performed in the movie.

  • @videoholic90sA oooh, thanks.. i just found out yesterday after a little searched on YT. And I am now downloading the film.. Hope they worth it. :)

  • Just watched the movie really nice :=)

  • haha i always remember this scene esp just before they introduce them i always say 'Go' with the guy LOL :p

  • Tom Hanks wasn't really a small actor. He wrote the movie.

  • @AllieCat816 Tom Hanks also directed the novie.

  • "I led you here sir, for I am Spartacus" haha love that line :)

  • Fun Fact: That's Tom Hanks' former Bosom Buddy, Pete Scolari, playing the host!

  • @ForceMaximus84 It seems Hanks is a very loyal person, Scolari is not as big as an actor as Hanks has become, and it seems that exactly at 0:30 in the video, that scene with Hanks standing to a monitor with Scolari´s image seemed like he wanted them to appear together, just as they did when they both were struggling actors. Very nive movie, full of details.

  • Arguing about the technical equipment being from the future given the date of the movie is silly and I declare, full-retard. That's like watching a movie with cavemen and getting pissed that the leather isn't from the extinct auroch or something lol

Everybody just relax and enjoy the movie.

  • From what I recall reading of this, the caption for Jimmy, featuring "Careful, Girls, He's Engaged" was a direct homage to the caption for John Lennon, "Sorry, Girls, He's Married" from the Beatles first appearance on Ed Sullivan in 1964.

Still, this makes for a very good movie, which I still enjoy to this day! Thanks for posting, friend!

  • @MegaJustGeorge

I was born in 1968 and I lot of things are new to me. I didn't know that thing about the Beatles' appearance, sounds great and fun. Hope Lennon he didn't made the grin Jimmy does when he sees the caption on the screen! Thanks for sharing.

  • great set

  • It's got a good beat, easy to dance to... I give it an 85. ;)

  • Agreed !!

This is by far the best perfrmance of the entire film in terms of audio quality

  • This was supposed to take place in 1964, yet what looks like Norelco PC-72 cameras (that came out around 1970) are used in this segment - as is a post-1967 production PC-70 in one shot. At the time of this story, the only color cameras around were RCA TK-40/41 cameras (with later-variant TK-41C's marking the end of the line), with TK-42's about to be introduced.

  • @wmbrown6 Yes, you're absolutely right; there are some technical boo-boos in this movie. Besides the one you mentioned, apparently the TV switcher is a 1968 or 69 model (Grass Valley, I think), which obviously was not available in 1964!

  • @videoholic90sA

Who cares about that technical stuff? The movie is great and it was fun to see it. I enjoyed it!

  • @Sanedmex1

    *EXACTLY* my point !!

Couldn't have said it better myself !

Ehm ... do I get the eerie suspiscion that :

someone care more about showing off their 'in-the-business'-

-cool cat ego , rather than enjoy a feel-good movie ?

    Kind of sad , in a way . . .

  • @wmbrown6 nerd

  • @wmbrown6 Thanks nerd.

  • I love this movie.

  • Yes, that's Studio 33 (aka The Bob Barker Studio) at CBS Television City they shot this in!

  • @johnnyafairbanksak Yes, that's exactly right!!
