oh come on, this is not a fair comparison, Aretha´s version is when she was at her best, but whitneys version is from 2010 when whitney is not.....lets say........in her best moment....If you want to have a good whitneys version, go back to 1991 when she rocked, singing this song like anybody else ever did.

Whitney - you totally missed it. If you were on American Idol in round one - and I were a judge, I'd say: You're gone. You totally missed it. I love Leon and everything he does; he's a musical icon and a hero of mine musically, but Ray Charles' version was the epitome of this piece.

Im sorry, but listening to Aretha's version, versus Whitney's version, is like comparing a strip steak to a cheese sandwich...Aretha, wins, hands down.

If you are gonna put Whitneys version of this song you could at least have put the decent version up - she sings this live in the Welcome home Heroes concert - her voice was at its best back then and if your going to compare you may as well do it fairly. Both Whitneys version were better than Arethas but Whitneys first attempt at this song really stands alone.

Sorry, I would like SO MUCH but There is COPYRIGHT about Aretha's version. Dommage! Cause it's a AMAZING and UNIQUE version.
