This is a bat eating a banana. If you are a bat loveer it is impossible to not say AWWW in your mind or out loud. I mean serisouly, IT'S A BAT EATING A BANANA.
@10samm10 You don't get it man. This is how it all starts! They're going to eat all our bananas, which means we won't have any banana peels for people to slip on. Because of this, a basic form of slapstick comedy will vanish. Not to mention we'll no longer have banana and strawberries as a combination! First it'll be our bananas, and then blueberries, and then cherries! Soon, all we'll have left, are eye-attacking grapefruits...
I just don't understand, domestic cat's and dog's were wild animals to before we took them in and make them domestic, there are many many animals we have taken in as pets and found out they make good pets, that list is endless, all animals start out in the wild and some are made pets, and lot's can be domesticated, instead of judging others for having a wild pet look at your pets, find out where there roots came from and think about it.
Did it occur to you that it might be wearing a tracking collar so that they could monitor the population in the area??? Everyone who bashes animal videos on youtube just want to act like experts.
If that's how you respond to anyone who points out that you might be wrong about something, you need someone a lot more capable of enlightening you, than me. Come back when you can speak constructively rather than throwing around profanity because you're so "tough" on the internet.
Pff. You won't give me a good reason because I said "fuck"? That has nothing to do with being "tough", but everything to do with "incredulity towards someone who's clearly speciesist and will worm their way out of arguments for stupid reasons".
Speciesist? So by defending efforts to conserve and protect an entire animal population, I somehow support treating this species unfairly? That's a ridiculous red herring and it proves that you're out of legitimate points. Apparently you just want to argue to pretend to know anything about conservation methods. It's very clear that you don't really care whether this species is threatened or not. Tracking collars are NOT permanent, and do no harm to the animals wearing them.
That's not a red herring you fucking idiot. And to counter; claiming I know nothing about conservation methods IS a red herring.
It is speciest for the following reason: You would not DARE to try and place a collar upon a human being without their consent, whether they were procreating or not. Yet for non-humans, it's totally okay, right? Basic freedoms be damned.
There isn't a single selfless argument for the preservation of any sentient species.
So you support the endangerment of a species, which we humans have the means to prevent? You want the spectacled fruit bat to be a case similar to the spix's macaw just so it doesn't have to wear a BIG MEAN (but in reality, harmless) collar for a few weeks of it's life. If humans were endangered, I would want another species capable of protecting us to do so. What you're advocating is exactly why we have endangered animals in the first place. Totally compelling argument bro.
It's not compelling because I'm arguing with a moron. I already said, there isn't a single selfless argument for the preservation of any sentient species, and yet you ignored that, didn't even remotely object to it, and then proceeded to continue your rambling incredulity, IN SPITE of my point.
You're clearly picking and choosing what you want to comprehend, and absorbing the important and relevant parts.
If collars are harmless, then freedom is a petty desire.
All you have provided are insults and petty vulgarity rather than a valid argument, sweetheart. If you really thought I was as beneath you as you've been saying, and that I have shown no fact to my side of the argument, you'd have dropped this long ago. I was hoping you'd see the importance of what we as humans can do, but instead you throw insults and consistently fail to suggest a better conservation method. It's clear that you're unable to do that, so we're done here. :)
You ignored my point AGAIN. And this time you actually TOLD ME you ignored it, literally saying that you didn't see it. Allow me to pose it one last time in case your blatant idiocy is inconsistent (which I know your logic is):
"There isn't a single selfless argument for the preservation of any sentient species."
That's my argumentative stance, and if you dismiss it on the grounds that it isn't an alternative conservation option, you should be shot.
@HatoburekaSutajio its unclear what you mean by "There isn't a single selfless argument for the preservation of any sentient species." can you de-hipsterfy?
What I said couldn't be clearer if I doused it cleaner fluid, and used your face to dry it off.
Any imposing effort to "preserve" any sentient species is selfish. Not selfless, as in "Oh, but the poor panda bears! They'll die if we don't help!", but selfish, as in "Well shit, if we don't imprison and breed the fuck out of these poor panda bears, they might go extinct and we'll lose another thing to make into a Youtube video."
That is pretty awesome. I mean- just try swallowing while hanging upsidedown.
