DeNiro and Streep a hard act to beat, i think one of meryl streep's best films was Silkwood it was a gripping movie,it had laughter, fun, but very sad film, A cry in the Dark, was also a very good movie, meryl did an Australian accent very well, Then the Deer Hunter a classic movie. It was the film that sent meryl on along road of Oscar nom's and two wins through the 1980's I cant think of a better Actress than Meryl, with the execption of Katherine Hepburn who was before my time
