Jeans, Swades, Taal, Bombay, Roja, Dil Se, Kisna.. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 10 Rehman compositions which deserved an Oscar ahead of Slumdog.
The films I listed had a beautiful theme and are not necessarily in order of songs' quality. I personally think the theme music of Bombay and Jeans are the best. Just my opinion!
1. Nothing is worth staying away from things you truly love..I'm sure all of you're competent in your own right and can achieve similar things in India.
2. As long as you're in the states ..be happy and experience life Amer. way and one day all of us will be happy ...hopefully staying in peace in India.

Jeans, Swades, Taal, Bombay, Roja, Dil Se, Kisna.. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 10 Rehman compositions which deserved an Oscar ahead of Slumdog.
The films I listed had a beautiful theme and are not necessarily in order of songs' quality. I personally think the theme music of Bombay and Jeans are the best. Just my opinion!

It's not India, it has neither the history nor the homeliness, but still Indian's represent the most successful class of AMericans, they are the richest, with higher incomes than whites. what i love with A. R. Rahmans music is its always hits the spot and makes you feel great. i mean its mindblowing work. and i always realize how much he uses an orchestra and just to imagine what it would feel like to play and hear it come together... those people are so lucky. i love the feeling of being on stage with my orchestra.
