Hmm.... I love Bach, love cello, love kabuki and I also think that Tamasaburo is unmatched as a female role specialist, but cello+Bach=works Kabuki+(cello+Bach)=not so sure.

Thanks for identifying the music, tiffenakou. Serendipitously, I just recently bought a used copy of Yo Yo Ma's recordings of those Bach suites, but hadn't yet listened to all of them. Of course, I immediately put it on, and discovered that he really does play it that slowly. :)
