  • fucking love his style of comedy, he is quite obviously doing bad on purpose and it is hilarious. I can understand that people who might not know who he is wouldn't think he is doing it on purpose, but if you know Tim Heidecker's style of comedy it is very obvious. Everything he does is calculated, I would've appreciated this completely had I been in the crowd.

  • He has a television show which survived 5 Seasons, toured around the globe, and is starring in a new movie. Obviously he knows what he is doing.

  • @Gvilleanarcho I try to like him. Oh well. Down with leaders.

  • cherry-pep-cherry-d-pep-cherry-coke

  • I nominate Tim Heidecker to replace Steve Carrell as a far superior comedic talent in the US version of the Office

  • Reminded me of Andy Kaufman in that I think he was kind of doing a "bad comedy" sketch. I get it, it isn't very funny, but I get it. Just can't force myself to enjoy this guy.

  • @DaiReborn I used to feel the same way. But at one point it just clicked, and I can't help but laugh at how absurd he is and how hard he's hammering these terrible jokes into his whole set. I dont know, you either love it or hate it.

  • @DaiReborn he develops the comedy set more at numbers 4-8.

  • Great Job!

  • I love this

  • he sucks

  • @Spreewaldtopf

    <thepoint

  • As soon as he said cherry coke i busted out laughing.

  • so, there are people laughing? Legitimately? Do people there get it? Or are they just a bunch of drunks who will laugh at everything?

  • Tim is genius.

  • this is fucking awesome

  • cool story bro...

  • Hahaha classic tim. The crowd doesn't even understand XD

  • qu- question: i w-, my, mi-, that's the reason i don't even drink pepsi is because i think pepsi is too... sweet, so why would i drink- why would i even drink ch- cherr-, uh, cherry-pep-, cherry pep-, cherry coke?

  • so this bitch behind the counter

  • Brilliant. Great job!

  • GENIUS

  • its not even funny from an awkward standpoint tho. its kind of like a chris farley skit without all of farley's funny mannerisms.

  • @tcelikel no im pretty sure this is really funny

  • @tcelikel lol what are you talking about this is hilarious

  • I showed this video to my dad and he said it was a funny goof and a spoof.

  • @PakrerGM64 yea it always nice to see tim heidecker outside the show just fartin around

  • I lost it when he said "cherry coke"

  • I love how he trolls the audience.

  • "Keep puttin' this in a different pocket."

  • Genius. This slowly reveals this guy is obsessed with Pepsi.

  • I want to meet the 908 people who liked this and buy them a Cola. As for the other 59, thoan doe'n deliver luck.

  • Such a boss

  • ".............so cherry coke, it doesn't even taste like cherries"

  • It's anti-comedy. It's actually really hard to preform with pressure and anxiety and what have you... I cracked up at this. Maybe only a certain crowd understands...

  • Whatever happened to Sierra Mist?

  • hey tim and eric doesn't need our sympathy. they need OUR FUCKING SYMPHONY.

  • yeah you need balls of steel to do this Lol, What a troll. Hilarious.

  • @ienjoyapples no one cares

  • Comment removed

  • @ienjoyapples this is probably the most tragic comment I've ever read

  • @ienjoyapples Are you trying to make a joke?...

  • @ienjoyapples You brainless bastard, more out of context quotes please!

  • @ienjoyapples you just trolled the hell out of some troll fans.

  • @ienjoyapples

you don't get it. there are different forms of comedy besides greg landaus interpretation. I happen to think tim heidecker is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen.

  • 3:47 burps!

  • Comment removed

  • @Underwaterer after watching the other ones - I take that comment back, actually...you're unavoidably cute and funny and I like it.

  • this is genius. the general topics are hilarious and the card is probably one of the best parts.

  • hahaha the fine art of being awkward.

  • he's got balls for doing this.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHA

(For those who don't get it, he's brilliant)

  • @ 0:11

    DAT ASS.

    NUFF SAID.

  • Cherry coke - *raised eyebrows, chin down, half smile, intense stare".

  • I love Heidecker and I love Tim & Eric A LOT. But this isn't funny awkward to me :c

  • an amazingly crafted trainwreck.

  • I enjoyed this greatly.

  • For all those saying that Heidecker's comedy is supposed to be a modern day Andy Kaufman, yeah, I get that, but that doesn't make him automatically good.

I'm tired of all these Tim and Eric fans oozing pretension by saying "You just don't get it". I get it and it's not funny.

Andy Kaufman started anti-comedy and Neil Hamburger is the only one to do it well since. Both Tim and Eric are just hipster humor that will die off in one or two years.

  • @ZyxthePest

Someone has sand in their vagina.

  • @lepricon989 Cool post bro.

  • @ZyxthePest Tim and Eric have already been around for almost a decade. You must just not get it.

  • @ZyxthePest Sending cancer your way

  • @bdarnold84 lol silly hipster

  • this is Alfred Hitchcock

  • HAHAHAH

  • For everyone that says hes awful- THATS THE POINT. you obviously dont get his humor. hes trying to make it as awkward as possible and i find that absolutely hilarious.

  • @fashpart Spelling it out for folks unfunny's it but I guess I understand your frustration

  • @fashpart you ruin it by explaining it.

  • @killthephonies I know, i was just getting extremely frustrated with people saying he sucks because they didn't get it.

  • Tim Heidecker is a STAR.

  • Tim is fucking brilliant.

  • @6ermany so let me get this straight, the person whose opening response to me was to say I'm a faggot and suggested that I talk bullshit is saying I shouldn't insult people, so are you the only person that is allowed to insult people? I'm confused? And yes when people are not very good at something or fantastically unimaginative when insulting me to the point that they start to contradict themselves, I will point it out! Xxx

  • i laugh more and more each time i watch this.

  • I love the look he gives after he says, "If I wanted Pepsi, I would've ordered Pepsi." This is really funny. Wish I would've been there. Thank you for posting!

  • this bitch behind the counter goes we only got pepsi

  • I totally get what he is trying to do with the anti-humour thing but he sucks at doing it! the prompt cards as a prop to reassure the audience it is an act of anti-humour just further show his inability to perform this style! anti-humour is only funny if you are funny in the first place, this man however is not! sorry to break open a can of truth!

  • @monkeyblaine You... are a faggot! Way to open up a warm can of bullshit!

  • @6ermany bless you for you attempt at offending me, I hope you haven't been so mean to other people on here. you might upset them or hurt their feelings! actually perhaps not as clearly your repertoire of insults is not going to be any more scathing then that of the average idiot, therefore if anyone was to actually take offence it would be as much a sign of their intellect as your goodself! love you xx

  • @monkeyblaine Lol aight, "blaine," it seems you have decided to go with the "superior vocabulary" card to make me feel inferior to your poor self. Just because you don't understand the man's humour as the rest of us do doesn't mean you have to insult him. You really appear to like to criticise people for the way they do things.

  • @monkeyblaine I love how you're trying to sound smart over the internet. You come off as quite a dbag sir.

  • @monkeyblaine obviously you havent seen enough of Tim Heideckker, he is the definition of comedy.

  • @bren125 clearly

  • @monkeyblaine He defines this style

  • This guy has to be trolling

  • He's no Tairy Greene.

  • Hilarious!!! But for the wrong reasons

  • *fumble fumble* *joke set up**forgets punch line*

  • Good lord that was awful....

  • @ShrinkingDad I don't think you understand the style of humour

  • @TOMS1ESSON Oh I get it, I just don't find a bit entertaining. i.e. anti-humor. It's really just a waste of everyone's time. Much like watching Tiger Woods play golf the last 18 months.(except Tiger isn't doing it on purpose)

  • This guy brings the funny. He even lets you make up your own punch lines

  • I love the leather jacket and his enthusiastic laugh.

  • so awesome

  • "the punch line IS the awkwardness, cmon guys" hes so genius and its just his witty style you just dont understand it its hilarious. shut the fuck up theres nothing funny about this video

  • @907borrego you're an idiot

  • @ebowebo yeah i guess you would have to be really smart to understand his jokes. i must be an idiot

  • @907borrego No it's the other way around.

  • on-stage masochism

  • hahahahaha! This is amazing! "Anyway, there's that" genius

  • Trolled this audience so hard, haha.

  • hahaha "this bitch behind the counter". BOOM Comedy Genius

  • the awkwardness was paralyzing

  • the punch line IS the awkwardness guys, its his styling of comedy, love it.

  • @fakebeliever this is what it is though, politely unfunny

  • @fuckamericanidiot Fail.

  • @fakebeliever *Forfeit

  • @fakebeliever Sorry man, but you're overthinking this. It works just fine. Show this to maybe your mom or your dad and lets see what they have to say about it

  • @DRTHVDER Or, I'm right and Tim's attempt at anti-comedy failed. I'm going with that one.

  • @fakebeliever Go with being a little bitch

  • Performing the anti-joke.

  • I'm sorry, it was strange, but not enough to laugh at.

  • psudo-secret genius

  • Tim Hidecker v Norm Macdonald

    FUND IT

  • This guy is a freaking genius

  • Crap

  • dammit

  • how can he not laugh at the audience reactions!?

  • I wish that douche in the background would shut up.

  • He does so well that it's almost counter-productive, which is what I'm sure he wants.

  • I like the part where Neil Hamburger jumped out and ate Heidecker's brain.

  • all pepsi fuck you

  • really cute female laugh at 1:04

  • This man is a genius.

  • Epic troll

  • 2nd best stand up out there... after James Quall

  • @PzoiNick Well come on its unfair to compare anybody to James Quall

  • This is hilarious and epic as fuck at the same time. It's like Tim is trolling the audience irl.

  • Two tickets to stank town!

  • Now I dont mean to sound mean in any way but does Eric ever do anything? every time i search him, tim is always attached. but tim has a whole lotta stuff!

  • @drakeTM1 "dance floor dale" is one of my favorite eric warheim works of art haha google it

  • You really have to have balls to do something like this.

  • lol....Awsome Stand up...Great Job

  • This is too funny!

  • Pure anitcomedy gold.

I've tried it, it's extremely hard to pull off right.

  • 36 People are Pepsi

  • 36 people wanted eric to pop out and sing a duet with david liebe hart and a puppet.

  • dat azz

  • im a big fan of tim and eric awesome show great job. do any one here knows anyone else who does anti comedy? i kno i sound stupid but i always loved this type of humor i didnt kno it had a name

  • Talk about trolling the audience. A couple of them got it.

    I love you Tim

  • Great job

  • this truly is GOLD! he doesnt care whether they laugh, its all his enjoyment that they dont get it!!!!!!! hahahahahahaha this is great!

  • @nukid3030 Man, I just hate you.

    What an uptight shart gargler.

  • OMG JUST 2g

  • A master of awkward conversational timing... Anti-Comedy gold.

  • Comment removed

  • This is sweet, beautiful art. I love this man.

  • This is not funny.

    Which makes it funny.

It's so hard to like, but I love it!

  • @ltcornflakes

    Well put. Tis the point.

  • Great Job!

  • He looks like a young Richard Masur

  • He's a genius

  • Tim Heidecker always falls back to the coke/pepsi jokes. It works every time. Always.

  • @frenchwhiskbits yeah really cool dude :D I might even listen without laughing at your comments when you expand your vocabulary beyond the word 'boring'. Nice try though. You get a B for effort. Stay in school :)

  • It's more about capturing that awkward instance. Tim and Eric just happen to be really good at replicating it. You'll find people that stumble upon it here and there, but they relish the moment and live in it. The people that claim it is "genius" do so probably because the situation has to come off just right. In all of it's fumbled kooky-lookin' appearance, it has to be the perfect sort of fumbled-kooky-lookin', it can't just be anything.

  • People have pointed out things like the way things are pronounced. The little hiccups and awkward glances. There is an underlying flow to this that just appeals to certain people. It'd be a long-shot to say anyone could just up and do it. But then again, I've seen some bad comedians bomb and somehow, unintentionally through some arbitrary means, makes me laugh. It doesn't have to do so much with "their acting" as much as it is their commitment to the awkwardness of the situation.

  • Check It Out! is the funniest shit I've ever seen. I wonder if there is a season two in the works. I DESPERATELY REQUIRE IT. Also, I understand the aversion to anti-comedy. It's weird. A lot of the times it has to do with appreciating subtly. Literally, it could be the most minute little detail, and it becomes hilarious. Whenever I watch Tim and Eric episodes, someone in the comments will note this other little nuance that I missed.

  • Its not that I dont get it... I understand the idea of anti comedy just fine... but thats exactly what it is anti-comedy. There isnt really any genius in this at all its embarassing to watch.. I watched this in hopes of finding something redeeming about the guy. This isnt some attempt to troll or anything but I honestly have to ask what is there to appreciate about anti comedy? The irony? If thats true then anyone can be a 'genius' just for holding a mic and being uncomfortably akward..

  • @JoehL4D But hes acting. Hes not actually on stage feeling "uncomfortably awkward". Just quit asking questions/bitching.. if you can't appreciate the humor in this like 600 other people can, then go watch robot chicken dude. in other words, get the fuck out!

  • @Notabulate I dont watch Robot Chicken, I was asking a valid question but if 'get the fuck out' is an answer in terms of T&E's fanbase then Im apparently not wrong. Im not an asshole and I wasnt trying to sound like a dick at all, but whatever, I wont come back and ask anymore questions who believe that 'acting' akward and unfunny is genius. I shoulda known better to start off with.

  • @JoehL4D Your just annoying, quiet honestly. You seem like an elitist and I don't dig that shit. go ask the universe what is funny/genius about this comedy. no one who appreciates this humor is going to give a satisfiable answer to your elitist brain.

  • @Notabulate dude you got me pegged all wrong, for the second time now you have assumed I'm something i'm not. It looks more like you are the elitist here, placing assumptions and labels on anyone who comes around asking questions. I only asked in the first place to see if theres something I was missing here, and what I got was some prick, who was quick to assume that I am some elitist mindless robot chicken fan. Don't bother responding again because You seem ignorant and I don't dig that shit.

  • @JoehL4D so, labeling t&e fans as assholes because your a sensitive little bitch isn't assuming something about ALOT of people you've never met? and assuming that the fans of this style of comedy are "artschool dropouts" isn't assuming something either? dude, you ARE an elitist. of course you wouldn't admit it because you don't know it. to big of an ego, eog, eogego ego egoe eogoegoeo egfoooo

  • @Notabulate Thanks for proving my point. Merry Chrimbus.

  • @JoehL4D hah, yep! an elitist is ALWAYS right! no matter what! ;)

  • @JoehL4D no one wants to answer your god damn questions because they are fucking annoying! do you know how many people question us for liking tim heideckers stand up and comedy? soo many motherfuckers, and i'm just a bit tired with it. you don't think this comedy is genius, ok, we get it. thats your perception. but everyone has their own, and this comedy, even dog shit on the street can seem funny to someone who perceives it that way. it's all about what pleases the individual.

  • @Notabulate I'm just asking a simple question, and expressing my opinion, If you are so tired of answering peoples questions about Tim, then why bother taking the time to respond to mine? Just like you have a right to express a perspective, I have a right to express mine. Theres no reason to get so upset about it.

  • @JoehL4D what do you mean joeh?? I'm not upset that your "expressing" your opinions on tims stand-up.. i could care less if you don't think its funny dude. alot of people don't find this funny, that doesn't bother me. what bothers me is all the people wanting to know WHY I/WE think it's funny. Why does it matter if we think it's funny? are you trying to tell us it's not genius? that its not funny? you shouldn't impose on other peoples opinions is all im saying.

  • @Notabulate I'm honestly only asking because I like to try and see things from all perspectives. I ask why others think its funny to hopefully aquire a new way to look at it. I dont like going around with only one way of looking at things.. I wouldnt be asking questions at all if I wasnt hoping for an honest answer as to what other people enjoy about it. I was honestly asking why people find the way he acts genius, because from my perspective he is only doing what unprepared comedians do (contd)

  • @JoehL4D yeah I understand man. we got off to a bad start, im sorry.its just kind of hard to explain why i think Tim is hilarious. I don't think anyone can go up on stage and do what he does. he studies human behavior and makes note of what he thinks is funny. hes satiring (Is that a word?) the everyday person. And idk, i just find it really original and creative! his laugh at 1:50 is an example! you see people do that kind of stuff all the time, and its so dumb! and tim is making us aware of -

  • on stage and end up getting all negative reviews, I'm asking what really makes him different from an amature comedian who could put on the same type of show.. because even they could claim that they were 'trying' to be unfunny, would they then be considered artists too? Like I said, I dont mean to offend or anything, I just really want to hear another point of view other than GTFO, because that seems to be the main response to people who are asking these questions

  • @JoehL4D -those little things humans do so awkwardly, through comedy. Well comedy, IMO. It's just those subtle little things he does that makes me laugh! he also notices those same things that i see, ya know? it's relate-able, so in the form of comedy, it's very entertaining, to me at least!

  • @Notabulate Thank you very much! When put that way its easier to look at and atleast appreciate his efforts. I still dont personally enjoy this type of comedy but atleast now I have a better understanding and respect for it. Again, thanks

  • @JoehL4D its okay man most people understand what you mean, and it's true. he's actually just pretending to be not funny though, it's just a performance. which he did pretty well here it's almost as funny as the time him and eric stayed in character for an episode of Attack of the show. this thing isnt particularly funny unless you like tim's work or appreciate this type of satire. it's very kauffmanesque. andy kauffman was known for tricking the entire audience. that was his routine.

  • @JoehL4D you handled yourself as a true youtuber should, great job!

  • Tim and Eric's work--Tom Goes to the Mayor, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, and Check It Out!--is the funniest thing on TV.
