I made one of my own like this a long time ago. Though I used Wiper Blades instead of the rubber bits and an electron gun out of a monitor to make the bits in the end.

@verdigo1 I like the wiper blade idea. And after looking up what an electron gun looks like, I think that would make a pretty kick ass end too, Very nice.

@allhailskippy I got the idea from the fact that they actually did use wiper blades out of a jeep to make the hand grip of Luke's first saber. I didn't have access to jeep blades tho... :( had to use regular car blades.

Freaking awesome, sir. I remember a light-saber duel my friends and I had way back in high school on a beach... at night. Probably wasn't great for the loggerheads, but my goodness was it fun.

@Wacotix You could always put a cardboard tube in (that's what I did to line up the special effects), but I decided it would fit better on my toy shelf w/o a tube in it.

Also, the instructions I was using didn't have a tube, and the ones that looked really good from other places were WAY above my skill level.
