  • When I was born, Runrig had already been around for 17 years. I come from a town in the middle of England that was built by a Scottish migrant community. Listening to Runrig brings me closer with that identity.

They are a very special group. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you for this song this is my favorite song first song I ever heard from Runrig ...just love it xxx

  • Their music is so calm! Can't belive that they're playing for such a long time, being just the same as in the beginning.

Have you got 'going home/hearthammer' from this dvd? I like this version, but it seems to disappear out of Youtube, I couldn't find it.

  • Såååå nydelig

  • This version is from their 30th aniversary concert. Back in 1990 I arranged for Runrig to play Huddersfield in Yorkshire - which is still I think a legend here. I so much wish they could come back here!

  • yes! exactly the version i was looking for! thank you for posting! amazing song, and will always be that way. played this dvd till it fell apart months ago lol. glad i found this song on here :-) thanks again!

  • amazing!

  • I was almost in tears listening to this song & when Donnie was brought out at the end, I almost lost it. I've been a fan of Runrig ever since 1977, when I was living in Port Henderson in Wester Ross. A friend at STV turned me to them & they've never ever disappointed me. Long Live Runrig & Long Live Memories.
