@Wooaaahhh Probably a number of reasons. Her friends are either unavailable or they have their own things going on, and she doesn't want to dump her problems on them. Even if they didn't, she doesn't want them to know because if she tells people who are really close to her, then she would have to confront all the feelings asociated with the event that she is trying to push away. Her character has always run from her feelings. There are more reasons, but not enough space in a post for them.

@phactress891 Brooke's character doesn't 'run' from her feelings; she just prefers to deal with them on her own instead of announcing them to everyone and getting sympathy, but that doesn't mean she runs from them. Like Brooke's stated previously, she hates for the people she loves to see her "vulnurable" and who can be more vulnurable after been beaten up, plus she was embarrassed and felt weak.
