"Any dumb fuck" would also know that Tiger Army and AFI are from the same area, that Davey Havok has had his voice featured on every Tiger Army album, and that Adam Carson (AFI's drummer) was even the drummer on the band's first album, before Nick could find an official one. To not draw comparisons between the two would be ignorant. And AFI's Sing the Sorrow album seems to borrow a lot stylistically from Tiger Army... Nick 13 even shares many of the same tattoos as AFI band members.

Personally, I'm a fan of their newer stuff just as much as their older stuff. Sure, "Regions Beyond" was a lot more experimental than their previous efforts, but it still retained the classic Tiger Army sound that can't be extinguished.
