I like to use a Double Anarchy as my "medigun" when I play Roland in co-op. It's kinda fun to heal teammates from long range with an accurate machine gun (usually with a Type 4 or 5 barrel and 78+ accuracy).

soldier is not the best class to solo with, wtf. if your in the turrets range the whole team gets an ammo bonus or a health bonus depends what skills he picked. it's the worst to solo with

Now this is my kind of character. I always prefer to play as a 'balanced' type of class in any RPG. Mainly because Im free to follow any fighting style that I want. I prefer to fight with variety than to master one skill or specialty. Good review.

I think the soldier is the best for playing with other people but solo I think a hunter is the best person to use because you can just send bloodwing out then sit back and snipe it's effective. With brick you want to keep him in berserk mode as long as possible, without berserk mode he is some trash in my opinion, and the siren if you give her a elemental weapon and work on her elemental skill set she does work.

Soldier class is pro. team ammo regen mods, shooting up allies and giving them health.

Scorpio turret with insane elemental effects. Really large ammo clips and overall good weapon specialist in every category.

Roland by no means is overpowered but he's cool as hell.

Roland can be almost as good a marksman as Mordy, especially with a Battle Pounder rifle and a Rifleman COM. Personally, I prefer a reasonably accurate machine gun with a red/white dot sight (S&S makes guns like that that're perfect for machine gunners who prefer to play infantry rifleman style). I never shoot from the hip if I can help it.

I really think all the classes are good, just depending on play style.

Hunter - Crap damage resistance, but an excellent sniper, if you wanna cap some bitches with one shot kills.

Soldier - Epic with turret and combat rifle.

Siren - Again, not the best damage resistance, but give this chick any elemental weapon, and ass kicking is sure to follow.

Berserker - Ugly and stupid looking, but actually is the best rounded character. His most notable attribute is his damage resistance.

The Siren is awesome, best solo character I had. Two tediore Equalizer revolvers, one with acid, one with incendiary, maximize Enforcer, High Velocity, Qucksilver plus a slew of phasewalk boosts and I was basically invincible. It was most entertaining to just watch enemies burn while their faces melted off.

personally i tried all characters and in my opinion the soldier and berserker sucks. for me, the best one is the hunter and second is lilth. my fav is the hunter because i love using snipers and pistols and his skills are really great for exemple there is a skill named trespass that allows you to shoot trough enemies shield so when fighting guardian its freaking easy. why lilith great is because she use elements that are deadly. the only thing i love about soldier is that he has shotgun skills

i have a class mod put in what says +50% magazine size.

now i have my rifle and shotgun and the rifle still has 12 shots and the shotgun still has 2 shots.

anyone knows whats wrong?

actually, the soldier is horrible at range, snipers suck for him, the Scorpio is EASY to avoid, and it forces you to go at one strategy: close range combat, he doesn't get very good guns and his highest skills sort of suck, I tried this guide and I still cant make him any fun to play as, I think hes only good for support......

i got a really sick Combat rife for my soldier. Geonicdal Stomper. only hold 12 bullet per mag, however it has a damage bonus of +70%. scroped burst rife can regnerate ammo and health what isn't to love about that?

The only difference is that each class with become more proficient with certain weapons faster than with other weapons giving that type of weapon bonuses such as faster reloading speed

Dont boost with ur buddy man..

if u dont know, boosting is when ur buddy is a high ass level and u join his game, he kills and u get a shitload of exp.

Ive tried this with my hunter and it got soooooo boring, i didnt even want to play any more, so i made a soldier and having fun again!

@malleymyster Static weapons are very good at knocking down shields but not as good against flesh and armor. Corrosive weapons are good on armored enemies like Spiderants. Incendiary/burn weapons are great against unarmored/unshielded enemies plus you get bleed damage as well.
