@sammysseal21 Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Blink fan, but this song isn't really that well written. It's the first song I ever learned on guitar and the lyrics aren't insanely deep or anything... Say Anything also covered this really early in their career back when they didn't have many other songs to compare it to... You should probably try listening to a Say Anything song before you make a judgement because every Blink fan I know also likes SA... My guess is that you just listen to singles..

So many people talk crap about blink, and when they show me a 'really good written song' its superb in being crap, with complexities and strong contrasts in the instruments that ruin the song, or just have weak instrumentals. the lyrics are just about always terrible.

I think the fact that it's not like the original, strange and unique just like Max Bemis always likes to pull off, and acoustic are what makes this song great!

It's not the best sounding (I'll admit that) but that's what adds to it's flavor which has a good taste!
