Modeling tutorial in Maya - RB6 F1 car - pre-video 01

On cg persia I read some posts regarding your F1 modeling series. I found it today and I am looking forward to model with you this. and wow quite rude people here! Never mind, you are great though and thanks a lot for making free tuts. :)

im just startin to learn maya, and one thing i do know, ur topology on that car isnt near to good..yes, i cant make anything close like that, but the is supposed ot be quads, all i see is tris.

@juan321654 You should probably gain some experience before you criticize someone who clearly has superior skills to you. If you had the slightest idea what you were talking about, you'd realize WHY the model is in tri's and that this is irrelevant to the finished tutorial. You should be thanking this gentleman for taking the time to teach you for FREE.

How did you load this model into Maya? WHat is the file in the game?

I converted the file to a 3ds file.... don't remember the original file format ... I can tell you that on monday 'cause I'm on a little vacation right now :-)))

to answer your question.... the cars in the F1 game are pssg files ... I used the 30 day trial version of 3dsimEd to load the car in and to convert it to a 3ds file
