  • how is it possible that someone around 18 years old can play this piece like that??

  • @mastermat112 Actually, he was 15.

  • @chobeethaninov

ow hehe I actually didn't know that :P

    but it's still beautifull

  • @mastermat112 and being only 15 makes him even more of a genius. Bravo Kissin!!! BTW don't miss the recent interview of Evgeny Kissin at the Verbier. So funny and adorable!

  • @chobeethaninov

    oyes you're right

    okay I wouldn't miss that ;)

  • @mastermat112 It's available on the Medici TV YouTube Channel

  • I love this Etude it's so dark and evil and the chords are so powerful looks really difficult though

  • all who disagree with this performance are invalid individuals

  • I was never quite fond of this piece. But I'll admit, it's really grown on me. It's a pretty fun piece!

  • WHOA!!!! This is AMAZING stuff. i am bowled over by both the performance (masterful!!) and the composition, which i've never heard before (somehow missed it one way or another, for 40 years...). 15 stars!!!!!

  • ....excellent....W Kissin!!!

  • I usually don't favor Kissin that much, but his left hand sounds on this piece are fantastic. Oh, Heck...Both hands are fatastic!

  • 2:40 - 2:42 Ha! Scrued it XD

  • How old was he when he did this performance?

  • Wow! I'm not the biggest Kissin fan but love this rendition. Slower than what I'm used to but so well articulated and some points are just fantastic.

  • This song doesn't have a sense and it's not very nice.

  • he looks like that guy from the I.T crowd

  • ...sei grande Eugeny...

  • you are realy great!!!!!!

  • He has some problems pulling those hard chords at the beginning ... needs to be improved but hes real talented!

  • already improoved ^^

  • needs to be improved? hahaha he was 16 back then. he's in his late 30s now. he probably improved

  • @andresitokitty There are no chords at the beginning, and he has no trouble whatsoever with the right hand at the start of the piece or at any point in the piece.

  • @debussy84 theres actually chords at the right hand...

  • @andresitokitty Unless you are Rachmaninoff I don't think you are in the position to say that.

  • the correct spelling is

    étude-tableau

  • Some people just have it. He's more relaxed and employs more rubato than most. And plays the left ossia ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba -boom in the ending. But think of the composer who invented this devil of a piece. Geniuses, both.

  • WOW

I cannot believe how talented he is, even when he was this age!

  • fenomeno...

  • amazing playing. notcie how he has always had the same hair style haha

  • He's just extraordinary. Always was. Always wil be.
