forgive notthing to do with the person you are forgiving??? It has everything to do with them. To bound someone in unforgiveness is to harm them and bind them up in guilt. Isn't that why Jesus forgives us, to release us from guilt? His message is I forgive you so forgive others.

And it hasnothing to do with witholding wealth. Prosperity teaching if ever I heard it.

Question? If someone does something to and hurts you badly. They move on with there life and never see you again. Who suffers. Not them. They have moved on. You're the one who is carrying the burden and held back and holding a grudge. Maybe that person doesnt even know there is a grudge held against them or they have angered you. When she says it holds back your wealth, she means that you have something blocking you. There is a lack of love. God does not work where the devil is.

To be honest I am still working on forgiveness towards family members that have done some deeply hurtful things to me. But hearing this makes me see the urgency of forgiving others for myself. Resentment, hurt and unforgivness creep back into your heart even when you have let it go. This message makes me look at forgiveness in a new way. Because I am learning bitterness is the posion you take hoping to kill the other person but really it's only hurting you.

i know forgiving someone can be very hard. But God helps us to forgive. easier said than done but God helps us to forgive when you think about it its really not worth being angry at someone and taking revenge. Because in the end it hurts us someway somehow.
