Realism is not a arguement you can use when talking about quickscoping. Do you see real soldiers use a hatchet and throw it across the battlefield and get a kill? Do you see real soldiers aquire 9 kills and have a really exspensive helicopter show up? Or perks? No. It's a video game, and quickscoping was fun.

It really did look like you were playing with a bunch of people who have extremely short term memory as they could remember who sniped them last time and counter-snipe.

I wish it were that easy on PC, I didn't see many people running around like mad with the AK74U which I found surprising as I had grown accustomed to it.

That was a nice little history lesson, I knew quick-scoping was going to be touched on. You handled it very well, you didn't denounce them nor praise them.

In Black Ops, sniping is definitily different than any other Call of Duty game. But, its definitily still fun to snipe no doubt. For those who tried sniping with the first couple sniper rifles might be fustrated trying to learn the new way of sniping. Try waiting until you unlock the L96 before trying to snipe, it will give you a chance to start learning and getting better. Once you have the feel, try the other snipers and you might find yourself having more fun.
