yoko kanno is a genius. "cowboy bebop" completely transcends everything i thought an animated show could be (anime or otherwise), and her music is a big part of that. i've found other anime series and movies that i love as well, but nothing that's hit me as deeply as "bebop". and this little piece of music kind of sums it all up for me. sublime is what it is.
