If your following this Guide and the water is still there, where the relic is located and you cannot get past that blue water stuff, then you must have died, meaning you will have to activate all 4 blue symbols again, then go and try for the relic, you cannot die if your going for the relic at all. No need to rush it, go carefully it isn't timed, just as long as all 4 symbols are activated. I tested the time after activating all 4 symbols then waiting 10 full minutes and then went for the relic.
