  • is she running under saddle for the first time?

    she's going crazy XD

  • i don't know what youre doing,

  • ya my horse did that. i thougth it was cos of the back sinch but then we tryed a breast collar and now he is fine! i think it was cos the saddle was slipping back as we rode. Beautiflu horse!

  • @HighReward

yes a saddle can be too small.. the tree can press on the withers and cause preasure and pain, wen running it applys too much preasure causing the horse to feel uncomfrotable so there for the horse will buck, @xxxRodeoluverxxx this horse is beautiful by the way

  • i feel bad for the dog

  • I don't think the dog helped! haha

Thats a nice place..trees and grass. Are you in the mountains or something?

  • yep that saddle is too small...

  • @kalapariplayer how could a saddle be too small? a saddle size is depending on the rider not the horse, unless it was a large western / stock saddle which then it relies on a larger horse. A saddle can never be "too" small

  • @HighRewards A saddle can most definitely be too small, there are different sizes in the bars of a saddle. This is not about the seat size, this is about the bars on it. There's not just one fit for horses, some horses are wider, some are narrower. Hence the saddles are different sizes

  • Pretty mare! Im trying to teach my horse lunging, he's off the track so he's a lil.... Well like this. I feel your pain.

  • was the saddle the problem? and your horse is beautiful! i love the color on himm!

  • beautiful horse !

  • all of your videos are great i train horses too and my dog always gets in the way too!!

  • nice you should have seen my mare woowee she waza rocket lol shes a whole difrent horse now tho :)

  • Was this her first saddle ?

  • bacj cinch deff looks a little tight...shes such a cute horse tho!

  • your probaly right it was the rear cinch b/c my mare did the same b/c she didnt know what a rear cinch was and bucked like crazy

  • wat kind of accent do you have

  • So cute! It's funny when you're like, "Stunzy, HUSH!!!" XD

  • i know this is an old video but what were u tryin to do with her?

  • i'd just loosen it up a notch? you shouldn't need it that tight unless you're roping or jumping anyways.

  • Were you refering to the back cinch? Because I have never seen any need for one in jumping. Jumping saddles do not have them and if you realy want to learn to jump you should not be using a western saddle.

  • is she young?

  • beautiful horse, best of luck with her :)

  • pretty horse, yeah she does look king of mad at something but i like how u were so pacient with her good job, nice horse!

  • Maybe she's bucking because of the dog.. .?

  • beautiful horse.

    mine looks like her..

    she have a gorgeous movement!

    xxx

  • r u training her???

  • U ride Western too? Sweet! Western is my style. I have ridden English it's just Western I find to be More Comfy and Easier to ride

  • She's beautiful...

Although, how come you didn't just put the camera down and concentrate on catching her. If it really was hurting her surely that was more important than videoing her circling the pen twenty times?

She's got lovely movement though. She must be gorgeous to ride?

  • I love your accent!!! Where are you from? I love your horse. =) I would looooveee to live on a ranch!

  • just want to ask but how dizzy did you get! lol

  • i ride mostly english but do a little wp.

ive never ridden with a rear cince, but ive seen them on.

what is the purpose of them?

  • it just keeps the back of your saddle from coming up.

  • they keep the back of the saddle from bumping up

  • nice looking horse. what was he. was he a quater horse? he is pretty. y was he bucking i don't get thta part. part the dog barking.....

  • Baha. Cutest little buck EVER.

  • she bucks likes my horse lol

it looks like a little pony buck, :P

  • WHAT IS YOUR ROUNDPEN MADE OF i WOULD LIKE ONE LIKE THAT

  • haha! shes funny! :P and ya the dog thing was funny!! lols shes a pretty horse 2!! :D

  • My name is Hannah and I love how your accent is all like HHAAAAAANah.... lol

  • She's like... "OMG! It's a REAR CINCH! I'M GONNA DIE!"

  • awwe ur so nice to ur horse it made me smile =]

  • hahaha. she's a horse with preferences. that's a good horse. :) very pretty

  • Pretty horse! Are you riding her now, is she calm?

  • Not going to lie, the dog part is my favorite!

  • hahahaha southern accent I hear. I'm in the south too, but GA. I love the yelling at the dog part. "SUZIE HUSH!!" haha, that's the south for ya. I just tried a tom tumb bit on my TB and he freaked out three times w/ it. thought i was in a rodeo, haha.

  • Your mare is beautiful! Is she a quarter horse?

My friend just bought a quarter horse that looks like this, but it has a white spot on his stomache

  • damn fine looking horse, looks like she is gonna be a good horse when she fully settles down and gets used to the saddle, thats how my horse was when i first got him

  • Rear cinch, back cinch, the one behind your front cinch :)

    Wow, pretty horse.

  • Beautiful horse!

  • whats a rear cinch

    your accent is so cool

bloody stunning mare you have xx

  • That second strap around the barrel of the horse.

  • how old is the horse

  • haha "SUZIE HUSH" haha you make me laugh, i love your accent, its so fun! are you from TX. i am too,but i'm in dallas, my horse bucked like a bronc when i got him his back cinch, pure bucking for about 9 mins. i was laughing the whole time, horses are so funny, mines a bay like yours but he is a gelding

well good luck with, well whatever she is bucking about XD

ohhhh and tell MIGELITO i said HOLA!

  • EEEESSSSSAAAYYYYYYY

    omg your anoying

  • Who wants a broken horse anyway?

  • wow, i love her name.

  • imnot trying to be offencive but maybe if you put the whip down she may steady a bit!

    x

  • It's definitely not the whip... It's that rear cinch! lol

  • you obviously have not seen much natural horsemanship the whip is an aid to keep them going forward so that they can get use to the saddle...obviously she is being broken in.

  • i think it was a camera strap cuz thats wut mine looks like... idk

  • err membersmanger if you read up top you will see it is the 2nd girth making her do it.. which is normal for horses that arn't broken in with them.... she is broken in.

  • is she a quarter horse?

  • she is such a pretty horse :)

    and i love your roundyard

how wide is it and what did you use for it?

im wanting a temporary one untill we build a nice good one :)

    x

  • its called a back sinch and u should really only use it if ur roping

  • actually you can use it for anything especially if your doing barrel racing or reining any sport with fast turning and hard stopping.just to help.

  • the dog scared her...

  • she looked like she was dancing

  • Pretty girl!!

  • She really goes when you kiss to her, Mine is too lazy to even do that!

  • its funny how with some horses that rear cinch turns into a buckin strap lol but gorgeous mare, she looks fun!

  • amazing horse! And I love your accent, lol. Where abouts are you from? lol

  • she's a very nice horse, wonderful long legs!

  • in my opinion the girth is too tight for her so thats why shes bucking <3 x

  • No...a girth has to be tight unless you want to try to get on and fall off?

  • if the back cinch isnt right up next to the skin a horse can get their leg stuck in it. Some people let it hang because they think a horse will react like bucking horses and their flank straps but its just a accident waiting to happen. They have the cinch right in the vid

  • nice video

i guess you were training her very nice horse =]

    x

  • Great job ^^

  • lol this vid is soo funny n crazy

  • awesome job with her

  • wow very beautiful horse! she looks like she has great potentiel. lol watch out tho she looks like she has sum attitude/respect issues cuz shes turning her butt 2 you, dont b suprised if shes an excitable little horse lol

  • She looks like a good barrel horse lol

  • i love her!!

  • ok is it just me or in the very beginning at like 3 secs when she crow hops does her jumps go to the beat of the song haha

  • nice mare she looks like she has HUGE potential

  • training im guessing? lol i love that horse!

  • My gelding did the same thing when we started training him, everyone told me he would never buck it out, blah blah blah, anyway he is just fine, I just had to keep working with him. You have a beautiful mare on your hands and she looks like she has great potiential. Especially how she almost slid to a stop when you said woah...great job

  • u really scared me when u went by her bum coz i thought the horse was gonna like buck at u!!

    "i thank its huuurrrten!!!"

    awsome accent!!xx

  • Beautiful horse.

  • nice mare, she has really nice striding, shes a gorgeous horse, what did her prevous owners do eith her or had they not ridden her before you got her? because it looks like she has had some training on her and they did a good job on it too.

  • your doing awesome with that young mare WAY TO GO!

  • hehe very nice mare

    =)

  • wow where ever you are is really pretty! ur mare is way cute :)

  • Man that dog needs to be tied up or something. How painful! ARGH

  • Wow! nice horse!

  • May I use this in my video?

  • What are you going to be using it for? A spills & chills type of video? Horses gone bad or something? You can use it as long as my name is used as well, "rodeoluver" on the bottom of the clip.

-Thanks, and of course, thanks for asking first. ;)

  • I was gonna use it in a western falls or something. Yes I can put your name:)

  • Okay sounds fine. Let me know when your done as I would love to see it!

    Thanks!!

  • I love the way you say, "Its alright, babe". Sounds so sweet xD Beautiful horse, btw

  • That aint buckin that's crowhops lol

  • lovely horse, she kinda looks like she's having a bit of fun

  • good filming it must be hard to spin around in circles and keep the horse in the shot

  • she didn't buck...

  • he ddnt buck

  • She wants to buck but doesn't know how. Loosen the rear cinch so you can put three fingers in it between her and the cinch.

  • I think she just isn't use to it, it's her first time being ridden with one

  • what is a rear cinch?

  • That's so funny! Who would have thought an already completely broke horse would have cared that much about a rear cinch.

  • ...wow... pretty horse

  • wow love your accent! lol lakota is so cute i have a horse named lakota too!

  • "I love your accent!"

She's got no accent to my ears, LOL. I'm from Southeast Texas and would guess she is, too. Hope she answers to tell us.

  • About the "accent". She HAS no accent to my ears, LOL. I'm from southeast Texas, so would guess she is, too.

  • what about when the horse does not no the back chinch is there and when you rope something it will grab the horse and it will buck!

  • your horse has really nice conformation..

don't waste her with western.. haha

    just kittin'

i just think she'd make a beautiful english horse.

  • loosen the back strap, its too tight and most horses respond by bucking. Also, the saddle is awfully small.

  • The back strap isnt too tight, you can see it hanging down at 0:38. (Of course im an english rider!) But yes, i agree, that saddle is probably too tight. Can you fit a hand between it and the mare's withers?

  • that horse is cute...a dn it makes me laugh when the lady tells the dog off and it lies down lmao!!

  • lol, i'd get dizzy after trying to watch her go in circles like that... :)

  • I love that mare. So cute.

Thats what my pony does to me... but when I'm on him.

  • Your right that saddle is to small, get a better fitting saddle and your horse will feel better move better and work better.

  • good thing you lunged her first! lol!

  • i only ride english. so wats a rear cinch?

  • i ride only english too, but i think its a second girth that keeps the back of a western saddle on. its like mainly used in barrel racing i think to keep the back of the saddle from coming up around the turns!!!

  • I also ride english, but I thought that one in the back was supposed to be loose and they called it a bucking strap.

  • it is

  • she is a cute little mare

  • "SISSY HUSH" haha classic

  • LOL I am glad it made you laugh! If you check out my gelding bucking, the buckskin? I have a'nuther bucking horse video clip, well Susie, my little basset hound, goes in there and he kicks at her so hard (misses of course, she's so short, LMBO) but he sure does get her outta there! LOL It's so funny.

    Thanks for the nice comment!

  • I love your accent xD

Very pretty horse, I hope it all works for you and that pretty little mare :)

  • ummm ur teaching her to buck wit the saddle she should be on a lunge line so that u can send her foward and pick her head up when she bucks to teach her it bad cuz all ur doing is showing her its okay to buck...and no it doesnt hurt

  • its called free longing and its ok to let a horse buck when you free lunge to get out extra energy!

  • shes bukin like crazy i love the vid

  • I had to train my friends pony and thats exactly what he did when I got on him but I was fine and now i do it a lot so I will never fall off! LOL

  • cute horse!

omg i have a horse named Dakota!! =)

  • PREETY HORSE

  • Hey would i beable to please use this clip in my "horse falls & mishaps" video that im making? please reply thanks Belle :)

  • Sure go ahead and you can use the video clip.

Thanks so much for asking first, really appreciate it. When your done making it, let me know I'd like to see it! :-)

    Thanks-

    xxxRodeoluverxxx

  • ok thankyou very much :)

  • that was quite funny when you yelled at the dog

  • you have a very pretty horse.

    i absolutly love the green.

but i think the reason she is bucking is coase the rear cinch is either to tight or the saddle to small.

but i love how you look at those things instead of sayin oh shes just a bad horse...and displinen her good job.

  • aaaaw cutie shes justv a liittle scared

  • I just laugh at all these fools who look down on natural horsemanship.

AHAH I feel bad for your poor horses.

anywhos, where do yall live its so damn gorgeous with all the green!

Your mare is beautiful by the wayyy.

  • well done with reassuring her

  • my horse used to freak out whenever I used the rear cinch back in his barrel racing days lol good job with her though!

  • haha i love your accent!

  • absolute beautiful horse.. and thats really good you were trying to calm her down and reasure her she was ok !!! most ppl would prolly flip out and beat the horse.

  • with all you say shes done...it sure doesnt look like shes very experienced with all the comotion.10? my horse is 10 and hes bombproof...took me a long time to get him there keep working!!

  • i figuerd that out i had an off day so i forgot wat it was

  • whats a rear clinch

  • A " rear cinch" is simply a girth/strap/cinch that goes towards the rear/back of the saddle. It sits behind the actual girth. If you look in my video, you'll noticed a black strap there towards her back legs/flank area? That's the "rear cinch" and it's purpose is to keep the saddle more in place and to keep it from popping up & the saddle from sliding to far forward. :)

  • Isn't the reason western riders use a cinch in the back because of the size of the saddle. I know with english tack it dosesn't go as far back so i cinch would be unnecessary.

  • bet that dog didnt help

  • Thank you Karie! :-) I like her too all tacked up. Yummy....;) -l0l-

  • She sure looks good all saddled up!

  • I think you need to refrain from yelling when working a young horse. All your attention should be on the horse and nothing else. A softer tone is useful when working the youngins! Poor horse.

  • Oh don't worry, this mare is 10 years old. She's been in the rodeo scene all her life. From pick-up horse to team penning to barrel racing to western pleasure & halter. She's done allot and I figured she'd be broke to riding with a rear cinch. You'd think a 10 year old rodeo horse would ride with a rear cinch. -l0l- She's also had two beautiful babies.

  • This lady has done nothing to deserve the "poor horse" comment. Horses don't take it personal if you don't make it personal. She has already mentioned the horse is ten she was just letting her get used to the saddle.

Horses really are not affected by 'tone'.

I liked the video and the lady was concerned with saddle fit which is vital.

  • Horses are affected by tone. You must be one of them against natural horsemanship people, i really dont give a flying pig what you think about my comment either. I know better.

  • I do use natural horsemanship to start and train all the horses I work with.

Would you like me to send a resume and references.

  • Natural horsemanship is like another stupid religion. Not everyone sues those ideals.

  • Kabala, Scientology, Parelli....it's TM or Registered; these people have learned from the older generation who have learned through experience and others experience, it's nothing new it's just the true masters never marketed...they weren't capitalists like todays trainers they were trainers. There is a plathora of incredibly terrible inhumane and irresponsible things done by the natural horsemanship guru's that has been overlooked and not mentioned because of their celebrity.

  • I agree that some of the methods are great, and it would be nice to see less pain, but the way some of these people get obsessed in it, and less and less tolerant of "different" (though perhaps not painful) methods of riding. A bit, for example, has the potential to be painful, but not in the right hands.
