I think alot of you are making a big deal of nothing. Dr. Mattie Moss Clark dedicated her life to spreading the gospel to the world .the fact that this is videotaped shows people that there was no need to be sad for her. She was going to go be with the king. I dont think that there's anything wrong with funerals of people who have blessed so many through their ministry being videotaped. It was just a blessing to me to watch this video and her funeral will be a blessing to many others as well.
I love Rance Allen and you know when he starts to really feeling what he's singing. He will throw those vocal acrobatics on ya and just take you through....lol!!! What a voice!!!!!
SICK!!! One of the most underrated male gospel singers of our time...but that's ok he does it for Christ...and it's gonna last! YAY Gawd!! I felt that!
Daryl Coley, Rance Allen, John P. Kee, and James Moore are the sickest and coldest male vocalists to ever touch the microphone!!! They all are soo unique in their own way and can't nobody touch them!
i've been sayin' this for years. Eveybody but him gets credit for being a pioneer. This brotha was on a major label, STAX, back in the early 70's with mainstreem hits, when all the other gospel acts back them where primarily church acts. No disrespect to the Hawkin's & the Crouche's, but Rance Allen was and is the True Father of Contempary Gospel and needless to say the greatest vocalist ever
I think Rance Allen doesn't get the respect he musically deserve he is an awesome vessel of God and its a shame. God will bless where people may dismiss (just my opinion).
I agree with you bigjr. Rance is a legend in the music industry. Rance has been slept on, and I attribute it in part to the type of music he has been singing. He is one of the best pure vocalists in the game...and on top of that, he has been singing going on forty years and is still one of the top three male vocalists in the gospel industry. Even with all of the new artists and the new styles, Rance is one of the best, hands down. Tennessee representin' Rance Allen love!
bishop patterson's funeral was televised so that the people who couldn't be there could still watch it. james cleveland's funeral was available for purchase. now, if you're implying that my motives for wanting to see it is so that i may look at the family's reaction then i beg to differ. i don't want to argue about it. i just felt that if somebody couldn't make my relative's funeral and they wanted to see it, i wouldn't mind. i simply stated my opinion on how i felt about it. i do apologize.
I remember a few months ago seeing some of this service...and it was showing the opened casket off Dr. Moss in full view. I'm so glad that no longer is on youtube (at least I hope). At first I was appalled at how rude and disrespectful it was. But, then, I thought, maybe this is what the world is coming to. SO GLAD to see a very tasteful video of the service, showcasing the music footage only! Thanks Clarkxtreem!
some of us would like to see the whole thing and just because you might have a problem doesn't mean that it should be taken off. it should be made private or something.
@sivatmin I'm so glad you mentioned this as black people seem to be the only ones who feel we need to take photos & show our deceased loved ones in a death state. I think it is so IGNORANT & DISRESPECTFUL!! One of my aunts (by marriage) stated she wanted to take a photo of my mother while in the casket. I told her if she did, I'd break her camera (and possible her with it :-) I REFUSED to allow it! I told her we had plenty of photos of my mother she could have while "living!"
His voice sounds like a trumpet or something!! Like an actual instrument. Especially when he gets to the chorus!! MY GOD MY GOD!!!!
