that's cool. but do yall remember in the 1st season, to activate the timer quinn used to turn the dial but near the end of the 1st season to the 2nd everyone just clicked the button on the timer without opening it. and that was when they still had the 1st timer. not the 2nd one from the 3rd season

I have seen alot of replicas of the original timer and egyptian but i have seen any of the Rickmans Timer anywhere.

Don Colie, who built these timers actually has a good number of cases used to make Rickman's timer. He's EXTREMELY busy doing what he does, but perhaps someday, we'll see a Rickman timer, and based on his original and egyptian, it'll be amazing!

Don Colie is responsible for designing, building, and selling these timers. The Original timer sells for $1,200 and the egyptian timer sells for $900. These are A LOT of work and take A LOT of time to put together/program. SO WORTH THE MONEY

I had a lot of Sliders dreams back when the series first ended. The worst one was I dreamed I jumped w/ Remi and the worm hole didn't go anywhere. It came to an abrupt halt and the kaleidoscope of colors just sprung back and forth and we were stuck. I remember waking up in a panic relieved it was only a dream. I would not want to be left behind on one of those planets NOR stuck in one of those worm holes--but now I'm just geeking out

Hey, it's funny you should ask that. My friend once told me (in the 90s) that he saw, in "Sci-Fi Magazine" a television remote control that was designed to look like the "Sliders" timer. At the time, they had "Star Trek" phaser remotes, so why not!? I don't know if this is true or not. I've NEVER seen one.
