I can't understand those who think the ocean dub is 100% better than Funimation version or visa versa.

First off, there will ALWAYS be pluses and minuses when comparing ALMOST anything in life.

Second, why choose to be so close-minded, just to satisfy and protect some kind of childish innocence?

Everyone should at least try to like the other instead of immediately lossing their boner : D

If I had my own studio and the equipment to do it, I would make my own copies of DBZ with Ocean VAs and Bruce Faulconer music. Gotta be a way to re-master it that way, but it'd take some pretty hefty gear to do. Oh well, I can always dream.

i generally like funimation, for their music, and for the "Vegeta - Talking" voice (Sabat sounds more suiting, especially in the later episodes, as an "older" vegeta)...but ocean dub's Brian Drummond yells like hes bat-shit insane...nothing can compare to the intensity you can feel (i only wish there was a chance to see Drummond belt one in the studio)...but yeah if they had funi's music with ocean's VAs (especially vegeta) that would be the best combination, in my opinion...

@GuitaRDudE6722 I couldn't agree with you more that when Drummond yells or shouts anything he sounds like he's completely lost his shit and has more umph than Sabat, but that said I thought that Sabat voice always suited vegeta when talking. Although whenever I think about Drummond's voice i always imagine evil vegeta from the earlier shows and whenever i think of Sabat i think of the newer ones.

badass i loved it faved... he ripped it harder than the funimation guy did... i love all of funimations voices even the funimations vegetta but i think this guy should have been on funimation's cast. The shitty ocean dub cast really fucked up his sound...its like he was the only one trying to make a fucking anime voice eveeryone else was just reading lines off a paper like it was some school essay. He shud have made the cut and crossed over into funimation. On my channel theres a video like this
