@crashandbum I see how you'd say that b/c the drum roll in the middle is very similar except w/ AS Joey hits the drums hard at the end of the roll & guitar is a bit different. I have a folder in my Playlists exclusively for covers of this song & everyone does something slightly unique. W/ AS the vocals are different & it's heavier, w/ Yardbirds they use harmonica, Zeppelin is heavy on guitar, etc. And here is an instrumental w/ keyboards! I like seeing the evolution of this popular cover then.

I've often wondered if they recorded this as a vocal track, and the studio producer edited out all the vocals and just left the instrumental breaks! Listen for edits at 0:31, 0:48, 1:05, 1:33, 1:50... and the abrupt ending.
