  • I remember reading her story years ago and my heart against abortion is soooooo deep within me and I weep for it and the ppl who think they are rt and that children without a voice should die.

  • I am unsure about the God is always with us. Regardless of the "! set of footprints in the sand" analogy I cannot think that God has always been with me because if so that truly peeves me

  • Praise GOD! God's will and plan is so amazing...he brought this lady up for a such a great reason! Amen

  • @jason1111122222 .......and his plan was to kill 50 million+ babies every year too, right? HAH i love it!

  • @MyChoiceNotUrs God does not kill 50 million babies a year. Humanity does! God does, however, allow mankind to reap the consequences of the evil, that he sows.

To lay the blame at God's door is arrogance beyond belief and shows the true evil contained in the human heart. People who take part in and carry out abortions will be judged when their life comes to an end. Only then will they realize that the life they had left behind was not the real reality and only then will it make sense.

  • @NeilAnthony69 i dont believe in your god therefore your comment is going to be politely ignored.

  • @MyChoiceNotUrs Something does not exist just because you don't want to believe in it. You can shove your fingers in your ears and do the equivalent of shouting "I can't hear you, ner, ner, ner, ner, neerrr" all you want...but that wont change the truth and the truth will catch up with you eventually - whether you like it or not; one day it will find you out.

  • @NeilAnthony69 thats a joke... the reason i will not have a discussion with you is because YOU are the close minded one who will literally put your fingers in your ears and sing lalala... I don't debate creationists for that reason.. its pointless.

and for the record.. something does not exist just because you want to believe it does.

  • @MyChoiceNotUrs Me closed minded? I think you need to look in the mirror. You know what? I was not born a believer and I never had it forced fed as part of my upbringing from a child either. At one time I probably hated God and the concept of a God more than you...so don't give me any of your closed minded rubbish.

As for being creationist? I sympathise with the creationist movement but I don't abide to every thing they say and will not be led into a left/right paradigm in that respect.

  • @NeilAnthony69 Me close minded? aha don't be a hypocrite.

I go to an episcopal private school and attend chapel twice a week as a part of my curriculum. I have always been open minded but to this day have not been convinced in the existence of or interested in any religion.

I never said I hated God so don't put words into my mouth. I do however hate the negative effects religion has on society and highly disrespect those who force their morals on others.

    And.. good for you.

  • @MyChoiceNotUrs It doesn't matter what sort of school you go to or how many times you attend church. Going to church does not make you a Christian no more than sitting in a garage makes you a car. The churches are full of religiously lost people, the vast majority of whom, are destined for hell. Therefore, your ability to judge is biased by your own ignorance of what you perceive to be the truth from your very shallow and erroneous viewpoint.

  • @NeilAnthony69 woah someones getting defensive! I never said anything bad about your god so calm down. I did, however, say i hate the negative effects on society and people who force their morals which is 100% valid. "Going to church does not make you a Christian no more than sitting in a garage makes you a car" well I've heard that one many times before!...cont...

  • @MyChoiceNotUrs People like you want a perfect world to live. You want peace. You want harmony and you want all the good things that life entails...but at the same time you want the ability not to abide by the rules (moral values) preferring instead to pick and choose those which you think are right for yourself. The only trouble is that everyone else feels pretty much the same way and what one person may choose may be not what another person chooses and in the end society ends up with chaos.

  • @NeilAnthony69 Too bad it doesn't apply to me. The point behind me saying that was to have you understand that I'm not as close minded as you assume me to be but you missed it.

My viewpoint is my opinion and well.. I'm entitled to it whether you approve or not, I don't care.

I don't perceive anything to be the truth I know what is the truth.

Thank god for making me an atheist!

  • @MyChoiceNotUrs The fact of the matter is that either life is given by God at the point of conception or it is not. Now, regardless of what either you or I feel is true, there can only be one truth and its either one or the other. If the first one turns out to be the truth then whosoever commits or carries out abortion is guilty of murder. This has nothing to do with moral standards and everything to do with the truth.

  • @MyChoiceNotUrs People like you would defend a man's right to buy alcohol at whatever time of the day he chose, but if that same man then got into a car and ran someone over such a child and killed them through drunk driving...you would blame God for allowing it to happen.

You want your morals when it suits you and you don't like hearing the truth because it offends you. You hate the fact that you and people like you will be held accountable for their actions one day.

  • @NeilAnthony69 Abortion is an important choice that should be reserved for the mother to determine and the mother only. Not ‘God’, not the father, and especially not you.

Free choice may be the natural enemy of all dogma and righteousness and of your petty mentality but religious ideology is no foundation for any law and any suggestion otherwise is arrogant.

  • @bah5637 With all due respect, you are the one that is being arrogant. It seems free choice is the way to go as long as it's your free choice. Never mind about the choice of the unborn child, and its right to life being taken from it...all in the name of selfishness.

Don't come on here and give me your flannel which you pass of as moral righteousness to make yourself look good and at the same time, try to make me out to be some sort of religious nut - because you don't have the first clue.

  • @NeilAnthony69 Religion aside, an unborn child is exactly that, an unborn child. Unborn: Adj. -not yet brought into existence.

Stop trying to be some kind of woman’s advocator for our moral rights. It makes me sick. You will never experience the things we are discussing, so what the hell reserves you the right to judge?

  • @bah5637 No, dont talk so bloody stupid. It may be unborn but that doesn't mean it isn't a fully formed human being in its own right. Go look up some human physiology and determine for yourself the state of the fetus at 24 weeks.

Your ignorance is astounding! Just because a baby hasn't been born, it doesn't mean that it isn't a life in its own right.

  • @NeilAnthony69 Sigh, no I am not “some kind loony-tunes”. That would be absurd.

The state of a foetus after 24 weeks is that of a “continuous sleep-like unconsciousness or sedation” [1]. Let’s not pretend your views are in any way informed by science. You believe what the rabble tells you to believe, without even the least amount of consideration to empirical evidence. Understand that this is the very definition of the ignorance you so happily charge to the slightest opposition of your beliefs.

  • @bah5637 How dare you suggest that I believe what people tell me to believe, you complete and utter moron and poor excuse for a human being! Empirical evidence? I doubt if you know what the phrase even means.

All you are good for is copying and pasting stuff from other websites...like that article you pasted from a google search you did on the state of a fetus at 24 weeks. Only you came up with some not very convincing research that was done in the UK...whilst ignoring the EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE.

  • @bah5637 Empirical evidence that you could have searched for but didn't bother because your closed mind is already made up. And you have the nerve to come on here and paint me as someone who is closed minded and don't have a mind of my own...well at least I don't cut and paste snippets from other websites because I don't have the interllectual capacity to write my own words. And, unlike you, at least I can be bothered to research both sides of the argument...you complete and utter buffoon.

  • @NeilAnthony69

    This is ridiculous.

The only quote I sourced from the internet was completely relevant to our discussion and my argument, it was properly foot noted, and referenced. It is a highly credible scientific article, because I’m not a scientist, and neither are you. If you have any scientifically credible ‘empirical evidence’ that contradicts my statement I’d be interested in hearing it.

  • @bah5637 Its not ridiculous because you clearly took the first page that you saw and decided to post it without looking to find the opposing evidence that contradicts that particular research, which by the way, is not the worldwide consensus.

It seems that was too much like hard work for you for your narrow little mind to take in. Never let a good argument get in the way of the truth, so you find what you are looking for, copy it, paste it and you think to yourself...Job Done! But its not!

  • @NeilAnthony69 I don’t think it should be ‘my job’ to find information that contradicts my argument; rather, it is your responsibility to put forth convincing counter points if you wish to ‘educate me’. I’d be more than happy to read what you have found, but as of yet you have put forth nothing that is of relevance or interest to me.

  • @bah5637 Firstly, the paper you cite, and lets be upfront about it, is not actually the result of scientific investigation, that is, experimentation. It is merely an opinion put forward in a journal that a baby cannot feel pain because its nervous system is not fully formed at that stage.

That is not exactly true and is merely a play on words. The truth is that the fetal nervous system devolops in the neural tube, which starts forming after just two weeks gestation....to be continued.

  • @bah5637 Within just four weeks of conception, primative structures of the brain are reconisable and the brain will continue to grow, even after the baby is born.

The receptors responsible for the sensation of pain (nociceptors) devolop within a period of 7-20 weeks - beginning with the skin of the face and grow right down to the soles of the feet. These are the sensors that respond to thermal, pressure and chemical stimuli by transmitting sensory signals to the spinal cord -to be continued...

  • @bah5637 when these impulses reach the brain, they are processed by the thalamus. If the stimuli is one of pain, then the thalamus, will fire the appropriate motor nerves in order to give a reflexive response to the painful stimuli. It is thought that afterwards, the thalamus forwards the initial impulse or stimuli to the cortex for more advanced processing, which includes psychological responses and any directed physical responses.

    To be cont...

  • @bah5637 The thalamus and the cortex develop at different rates. At about 12 wks the thalamus is mature whereas the cortex is not mature until around 20 weeks and beyond and consequently, interconnection between the two is only capable, at around or after this time. Therefore, while simple reflexes can be seen as early as 7 wks after gestation, albeit with no brain activity associated with the cortex. To be cont...

  • @bah5637 The argument goes that in the absense of any brain activity, there can not be any pain. Obviously, like all these so-called scientific studies, they are laden with assumptions. The assumption being that the sensation of pain is controlled exclusively by the cortex. Medical opinion is DIVIDED as to whether its the cortex or the thalamus.

The fact that the fetus shows reflexive responses after just 7 wks, doesn't really fit in with the idea that the fetus is unconcious. to be cont...

  • @bah5637 Now I have gone along with your little bit of diversion, just to prove a point that you didn't have the first clue of what you were talking about so you went and pulled up the first study you found. But that isnt the issue here is it?

The issue is of course, of whether its right to take another human life - regardless of whether that life feels any pain or not.

  • @NeilAnthony69

Just as a side note, I find it hilarious that you misspelled the word ‘intellectual’ in your rant about my intellect.

  • @bah5637 I find it just a bit on the sad side that a person with no credibility and no real argument would use a typo to try and gain some credibility. Look where the E and the R are on the keyboard...you moron.

  • @NeilAnthony69 I think you’ll find that it is the wide consensus that a foetus is biologically unable to feel pain before 24 weeks, but that particular article made interesting points about the experience of a foetus after 24 weeks if you had bothered to read it. This is getting beyond reasonable, let’s move away from the character assassination, and focus on the substance of our argument.

  • @bah5637 By the way, where did you get the idea that I was some kind of advocator for womens rights? Are you some kind of loony-tunes or something? First you tell me that a baby doesn't exist because it hasn't been born and by extension, the baby is not alive until it comes out of its mothers womb. No wonder you cant tell the difference between womens rights and the rights of an unborn child.

You need to go get yourself an education because you ignorance is beyond belief.

  • @NeilAnthony69 It became a matter of women’s rights when you started announcing that the rights of a fully conscious and functioning human female should be sidelined for the rights of a foetus; initially lacking the connections from the periphery to the cortex (necessary to experience pain), only later to exist within a sleep-like unconsciousness (restricting the experience of anything). • God is Great all glory be to Him!!! Thank you for sharing!

  • What a daughter of God you truly are...Praise God for miracles like you, I am glad in my life time that even in video that are paths somewhat crossed..... :)

  • Amen! Praise be To YHVH.

  • Gianna, you are incredible. Such faith. Did you always know about Jesus Christ, or did someone teach you?

  • Gianna, you are incredible. What you don't explain is how you came to know Jesus Christ. Did Penny teach you? Or did you know God as everyone does from the moment of birth and never listened to anyone else but the God who speaks inside you?

  • she's amazing

  • honestly, she made the best point I've ever heard... if abortion is about women's rights... where were HER'S?

  • This video was most thought provoking. I applaud the speaker's courage and passion. Her faith and message are amazing and inspiring. I hope that thousands upon thousands more will be able to view this video--gaining understanding and being convicted about what is happening in our country regarding abortion. May God smile upon her and bless her--and may more like her stand up to speak the truth.

  • What an amazing person. Heaven sent. I would love to meet her in person.

  • She is an inspiration. An absolutely beautiful miracle.

  • this was really uplifting inspiring and touching!

    to God be the glory..

  • WHAT am AMAZING and INCREDIBLE woman !!!

  • Thank you for your courage and boldness. To speak truth in LOVE. I pray many lives will be changed for the better because of this testimony.

  • Thank you for being willing to give glory to the God who gave us life! He is our Eternal Father in heaven and some day we will stand before Him to be judged for our works and the desires of our hearts. The Spirit of God bears witness of the truth of your words. The testimony you have born is written in heaven for the angels to look upon and they rejoice over you. (DC 62:3).

  • Your story is very touching ... I am sorry your mother did this to you ... but from what I know about adoption, she was probably coerced into it.

I'm not a Christian but I am a Buddhist and we share many essential viewpoints .. I hope you don't mind if I say, Buddha bless you. <3

  • Delusional. A derivative of delusion |diˈloō zh ən| n.

An idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorder.

  • @shirney1 I am mentally ill Just so you know. I am also pro-abortion and believe that you should have been aborted in your mothers womb.

  • @D33LUSIONAL i hope someone kicks you off youtube for saying someone should have died. youre not mentally ill, youre twisted. God bless you. you need it.

  • @17PianoAngelLily11 thank you. God bless you too.

  • thenaturalpurpose your remarks are very foolish. this is a true thing of beauty

  • The only reason anyone or anything has life to begin with is because of God.

  • @FireThunderTV Thank you

  • Altermax777: Don't thank me. Thank Gianna for letting me use her video - and thank God for helping her live so she could tell her story.

  • @TheNaturalPurpose Sorry you feel that way, though I need to argue that God is not crap. He didn't make crap, either.

  • @TheNaturalPurpose "If you think I'm a fool, it's just another jewel in my crown."

    -- Gianna Jessen

  • she's saying that men have a God-given right to protect wut the KNOW is right!...with every baby or abortion there is a father and she's saying to stand up and do wut they feel is right (just God designed them to) she's telling women to stand up and know they're worth more than a fist in the face or a baby-makin machine or a sex-machine..she's telling EVERYONE that according to God we're worth more than most of us allow ourselves to be!

  • Don't you think she of all people understand what life and society in todays world is like, and yet her mission is to bring about change? You seem to resent her for that.

  • Anger? No. She is addressing men from a Christian view that they are the protector of women (and children), even if that means protecting them from women's own choices. Women also from the same Christian view saying that women are abusing themselves by not regarding their sexuality as sacred. It's about respecting life and sexuality in the context that God created. This isnt the way the world sees it, and her comments cannot be understood viewing it in that context, only biblically.

  • @gneitsch Nicely said. I respect you for your comment.

  • @D33LUSIONAL I don't think people understand English when someone says please don't use profanity on the comments, normally that means dont use profanity on the comments. there really is no need. gneitsch just asked you a question.

  • @17PianoAngelLily11 fuck you bitch. go to hell asshole cocksucker dick fuck cum dumpster.

  • @D33LUSIONAL *shakes head in wonder* thank you for being a gentleman. :D

  • @gneitsch eat a dick

  • This is the thing, that goes both ways. Women are murderers and abusers as well as men. All that you just did is allow more women to belive that it's ok for them to hit men because the men are the ones who need to stand up and take it. Truth be told statistics show that more women cause or initiate domestic violence cases.

  • Well I really enjoyed your speech up until the part where she pulled out the sexist card. That is wrong to stand in a point of leadership and call out the men as the ones who "Need to stand up and be men and not be abusive ect..." and the woman are the ones who "need not take the abuse and not know your worth".

  • WoW!! Amazing thats all I can say is amazing I cant wait to see her in heaven and give her a hug. I know her spot is already made up there some where great story just bless!! Love the way she said that we cant even make our heart beat.. we are nothing without God! Im a Princess too so wwill be fighting over the crown..lol jk I know its plenty of us..loved it

  • What a beautiful message! Makes me cherish being pregnant even more.

im glad to hear how she talks about the LOrd our God

  • Truly the Lord our God speaks through her through the Holy Spirit which God gave her at the time she accepted Yeshua (Jesus in the Greek) into her heart. She is a blessing! and she if you ever didn't know it, Our AWESOME GOD is a father to the fatherless and has mercy on orphans and widows with passion we can't comprehend. She makes me want to sing the praises of Yahweh and his son and his spirit, She is a sister to me and servant of the most high God a princess in the kingdom!!

  • This woman is amazing - I only hope I get a chance to hear her live and even shake her hand one day. God Bless you Gianna Jessen!

  • what an amazing woman. i wish I had only a touch of her strength.

  • Imagine if she had successfully been aborted. What a loss to the world that would be.

  • God bless you!You are the strongest person I have ever heard.

  • Gianna jessen, you are a beautiful speaker! So inspiring!

  • Im a tough guy... and even this brought a tear to my eye.

  • Amen brother!

  • @Shiftfallout fag

  • @D33LUSIONAL That is only offensive when it comes from someone with an ounce of talent. Your sad life is defined by trying to create the image of a tough thug who mimics a sad excuse for song, mumbled by every other kid on the street. You all sound the same... "boy". Get a life.

  • Thanks so very much for posting this. I love this young woman!!! I passed it on to my email list. God bless you abundantly :))

  • Thank you so much and you're welcome. God bless!

  • Inspirational :)
