I think the notion that this video is propagandistic, as it did not interview "Khamenei, Ahmadinejad, Mesbah-Yazdi, Ahmad Khatami and their likes in the same way" is probably invalid. This clip was taken before the Islamic revolution and before any of these figures could be interviewed on the same grounds as the Shah was in this clip.

I agree with you, the west did drop support for the Shah and in a way helped the Islamic Republic to be established. This was done in order to destroy Iran and break it up to 5-7 countries. However, with the help of God, every single one of their plans failed and Iran is now a strong and nearly independent country. So the same West that destroyed Shah is now using all its might to destroy the current regime; but this time, the Iranian regime is not as weak and fragile as it was then.
