I think Broly's legendary form is stronger than SS2. If he trained to develop it to its full potential I believe he could be equal to or greater than SS3 (let's not go into SS4). That's neither here nor there, however. Just going by his apparent power in movies 8 and 10, he could not beat SS3 Goku, Buu, Janemba, or Hirudegarn. I'm sure he could beat Super Perfect Cell or any of the villains equal to or below that power level (e.g., Dabura, Bojack).

@fusiondragon18 remember that the anime is translated (often wrongly so) and includes lots of filler simply to fill time. Kid buu was never said to be stronger than super buu in the real manga. It's the complete opposite, he's the one who's smarter with better techniques, etc. What makes kid buu the most dangerous is he doesn't care about nything, unlike the other buus he likes nothing more than to kill and destroy, hence why he immediately destroys the planet

ssj 3 goku couldnt come close to beating kid buu. brolly wouldnt stand a chance against kid buu. lets break it down and bear with me dbz scalling makes very little sense. ssj is about 20 times stronger than normal saiyan. so ssj 2 should be 20 times stronger than ssj1(technically?) goku in the first movie used the strrength of 5 ssj power levels to defeat brolly. so pretty much the conclusion is that after frieza saga power scalling makes no sense. but kid buu beat a ssj 3. brolly isnt a ssj3.

@TwanZero6 Gohan one long lock of hair when he transformed, signifying that he was an SSJ2. When he transformed into a regular SSJ during the beam struggle with Broly, he had two locks of hair. The sketches for the movie even show two different models for Gohan with SSJ hair and SSJ2 hair.

Kid Buu dominated SSJ2 Vegeta (who during his fight against Fat Buu as "Majin Vegeta" was stated by Goku (indirectly) and Piccolo to have more power than SSJ2 Gohan during his fight with Cell.
