mines run sweet on XP, VISTA ultimate, win7 ultimate, Linux mint, abuntu, Just about anything ive tryed works really well
Ive upgraded my wifi to a intel wifi card with GROUP N, very fast wireless network card, and also ram to a 2gb crosair which is a good 2gb chip, disable onboard memory, and overclock is enabled at 24% it runs just under 2.00ghz
it benchmarks just as good as my compaq presario cq60, which is also a decent setup
im currently running windows 7 ultimate and so far in the week ive ran it there is no problems to report, all devices are installed via setup so everything should work, just need to configure the mic to work as default its set to the 3.5mm jack and needs swaped to internal mic, if no programs are running then the aero animations run smoothly, but if running apps it can lag slightly, in boost mode it runs just like a normal laptop, its almost as fast as xp, disable effects and it will runs fast
also in my local argos, the are selling the newer msi winds, that come with windows 7 with same specs as the u100
so its more than capable spec wise to run win 7 :D
indeed the msi wind is worth a look,
i got mine on sale for £160 at argos which is extremly cheap for such a well spec mini note, im more than pleased with it, and ive used many mini pc's this is certainly the best ive tryed yet :D
if you get a good ram chip and wifi card you can see great results, just like using a full sized laptop, in performance,
the processor can be overclocked to nearly 2.00ghz if you upgrade the ram to decent one then disable the onboard ram you can get really decent powerfull rsults,
it well beats many top of the line netbooks on the market today

wow imy laptop is msi wind u100 plus series i cant believe it runs perfectly

Laptops are factory underclocked, so most OS's don't run as fast as they should. That is unless you're a haxx0r and can get it up to normal speed. :D
