My rig is a Gateway FX 6802-07( Modifed by futurshop) running on Windows 7 Home Premium.I have 12gb DDR3 of RAM, an HDD of 1To, a GeForce GTX 260 with 1792mb and I Use a Sony SyncMaster LCD (prob hd eh:P) 23.6" wide screen all of that on a 3 year warranty. All in all it cost me 2250$ CAN. My pc is pretty much the same except the cover does not come out( way better) it's integretaed in the pc case. Too much stuff to say for a youtube page lool.

I have a custom built PC with a 3.2Ghz Core 2 Quad and a Sapphire 4850. We should see if there is any noticeable dif. in games to have that Core i7 =]

That model monitor has defective capacitors in its power supply when it was made. It dies in 10 months since the capacitors pop. So many people are having problems. BEWARE!!!

The worst part of this Computer is the Video Card. I would at least update it to a Nvidia Geforce 280 gtx

it should have been pre-updated by the factory. once they notice buyers were having probs they jump on the issue

I had a terrible isue with the graphics card where i was not getting the maximum FPS and quality i should have. I updated the card and everything ran perfectlt smooth and games, such as Crysis, were no longer prone to frequent crashes (ps this song is WEIRD!)

I got the same computer. My only complaint with this comp would the power supply. Mine came with a generic 450W(500W max) PSU. It wasnt enough power to play Crysis or Bioshock. So I upgraded to a Corsair 750W PSU and while I was at it I got a XFX 285.

Have you had any issues with the mouse constantly refreshing in windows explorer? Just wondering ,its pretty much a known bug with this setup.Have you ran 3dmark06 if so what is your score?

Hope you can overclock it though! Got my core i7 920 to 4200mhz 21x200 with a asus rampage 2 extreme and 3x2gig 1600mhz.

hmm pretty nice i know off the start the Intel X58 chipset that comes with it smashes on the original extreme and that was well-loved.. that was a x48 if i'm right... but i haven't needed to overclock it yet... don't do too much gaming right now, working alot.

it automatically OC's itself to 2.9+GHz per core (which there are 4 true cores) it runs crisis like butter... (means very awesome) and on high settings.
